There are quite a few actually... But lets start with the most recent.. Wes Welker.. Averaged 33 catches a year for the Dolphins .. Had 96 catches in THREE YEARS for the Dolphins.. With the Pats he is averaging  over  ONE HUNDRED catches a year.. ... He had more by the 14th game of the first year then he had total for 3 years in the Dolphins misery of an offense..

Bears have 8 picks and FA $$$.....how is trading 3 picks gutting a team????
They get a QB and can sign several FAs......seems like a wash to me
 
Nice post Jack but people here dont like logic or stats for some reason..they just want to bitch it was too much for Cutler and say hes unproven cause he couldnt lead the 28th overall rated Defense to the playoffs

Well lets see.......The four starting QB's in the nfc north and there career records as starters!!!

Lions- Daunte culpepper 41-54
Bears- Jay cutler 17-20
Vikings- Sage rosenfels 6-7
Packers- Aaron rodgers 6-10

Now who is the best QB in the nfc north again.......You can show me any other stats you want to but the only thing that matters is wins and losses!!! And out of those four i will take jay cutler 99.9% of the time buddy.....

Cutler is too streaky and we will see him as no improvement over the bears current situation.The bears should have gotten Cassel  if possible.Cutler will lose games with his panicky style and the Bears GM wasted opportunities to shore up their weakness on the lines.Bottom line is you can't turn a screwdriver into a martini, or in this case make a player out of a quarterback who is not solid enough mentally to compete at that high of a level in my opinion.I have seen history repeat itself many times over the years in the bears organization.They have the coach but management continues to puke in their mess kit time and time again!!!!!!

     I think Orton is good enough to beat him out.  And I hope it happens.  It will be interesting.  Cutler by all means is a quality QB.  I'm not saying he's not.  But Orton is too IMO.  I was surprised the Bears pursued him actually.  That will be an interesting competition.

orton will not be denvers starting QB....he might be in 70's porn with that mustache....cutler will be the bears QB till 2018!!!!!!something they have never had...plus does anyone know that the broncos have the smallest line in the NFL?....pace is a big add for chitown

Who cares about size of the line?    Actually, if you were to consider the "size" of the line, then I would want a faster one if I was Jay.  Big offensive lines are more for a run first offense (ala the Cowboys in the 90s).  How many games has Pace played in the last 3 years.

No, Im not kidding you.  Denver's O line was a good one.  They were top ten in the league dipshit.  When did Pace win the heisman?  IN THE 90s!  LOL.  Doesn't matter how big your line is as long as they work well as a unit.  You should know this right lol.  Speed rushers are going to eat up Pace all year, especially in cold weather games in November/December.

Every owner would give their left nut for Ryan Clady too.  Big line or small, who cares.  It's all about how they work together.  Pace has big durability issues and I predict Jay will be hearing footsteps in his sleep.

I dont think Pace will start all year to be honest.....Bears have Williams healthy and signed Omiyale...both are 10 yrs younger than Pace.........
