Who do you guys like for underdogs in week one? I have Giants over Titans, Panthers over Browns, Vikings over packers, maybe jacksonville over the commanders. They did beat Buffalo last year and have a better coach now. There’s always upsets every week. those are my four.

I want to add the bears and rams to the list. Not a fan of trey lance beating Justin fields. And I think bobby Wagner helps lead the rams to a win. If you look at buffalos schedule, this is a potential loss for them. So six dogs week one, chi, min, jax, nyg, car, LAR. Maybe a parlay.

In his 14th season as Pittsburgh's coach, Tomlin is an absurd 41-23-2 against the spread (ATS) as an underdog. Tomlin also is 29-19-1 ATS and 23-26 straight up (SU) as a road underdog in his career.

Steelers D should be fine. O struggled mightily the past few years, but Ben is gone (Yay!). Trubisky adds the running dimension that they haven't seen in decades. Anticipate Najee to be Najee again, and they have a very good receiving group in Pickens, Claypool, Johnson and Calvin Austin III is a threat to take it to the house whenever he touches the ball. Burrow is still recovering from appendectomy surgery, which should bode well for the Steelers.

I'm not a trend guy, but SB losers don't win opening week.
Pitt has a good chance to win game.
Pitt should run and run and run. Trubisky is a running QB. Run him till he gets hurt and the rookie is waiting to take his place. We all know Trubisky is the temporary #1 QB.

My new model points out Bears, Steelers, Texans, Patriots, Jaguars and Vikings as decent/good dogs. Vikings the only one that should be a fav instead of a dog according to the model (so this one gets my attention surely). Bears and Texans should be PK.
