Week 9: 4 team 13 point teaser teaser thread (5-3 +2 units)

I actually think that MIA is a good play, and the number is nice...  MIA is also 5-1 in last 6 road games...

I agree with ATL as a SU winner at home...

So this is where I am at now...

Why do you like the Browns at home?  They can easily get lit up by the Patriots...

I'm not a big football gambler but I love my 13pt teasers. I feel that they give me the best chance to win. I'm 4-2 on the season so far. Here is what I got for this week

New Orleans +6.5 - The Panthers are just a pathetic football team. I can't see them beating the Saints here.

New England +9.5 - The Browns are very underrated but they are going against best team in the league at least for the time being. No way Belicheck and Brady let this game slip away. Even if they do, no way the Browns cover the line.

Indiannapolis +16 - Yes I know Reid doesn't lose after bye weeks and that the Colts aren't as good on the road as they are at home but I just can't see them losing by 16 or more. You can count on the colts to put up 14-20 points meaning the Eagles will have to score 30+ to covers the spread. Dont see it

Green Bay +6 - Packers have gotten their season back on track with 2 big wins against the Vikings and Jets. Can't see them letting it slip away again with a loss to the 1-6, Kitna led Cowboys.

I like IND for sure.
I can see Philly winning but i can also see Indy winning. No way they lose by more then 2 tds. The Eagles are LAST in redzone defense. $ when you have Peyton with Collie possibly back and you're getting those points.

I like KC winning straight up so giving them those points is sweet.

The wise move would probably be TB but ATL +4.5 looks pretty good to me too. If they lose it won't be more than a FG probably. Although this is a huge game for TB and they keep finding ways to win.

The Detroit game kind of scares me. Alot of people think they'll score 14+ but im not so sure. The Jets D at any point can pitch a FG game. I do believe the Jets can find 2 tds on offense and probably a defensive td or a few FG's. Looks good on paper but you never know. I'd take it if i didnt have any other options but i would try to find something i liked more.

I do like Mia. Great road team and they usually play good teams tough. I could see a FG game here too. Which is a good thing if you have Miami and those points.

Buf/Chi - Who knows....not worth risking to find out.

Ariz/Min - same....who can call these teams right now. Flip a coin.

Browns/Pats - Its looking like the Brownies are being counted to be in this game. BUT if Brady can get out fast (14-0) it could get ugly with McCoy back there.

I do like Houston at home against SD at + 16 too. Floyd and Naanee are OUT and IF Gates is out i like them to cover this easy.

no way NE loses by 8-9 or whatever you can get.

It is a situational play with a homedog coming off of a bye...

reverse line movement also bodes well for the idea

i think Dallas will be a difficult team for people to bet this week, but it falls into a few situations that all come together...

1) Anytime you have a matchup featuring 1 team that failed to cover the spread by 14+ points the previous week, against a team that succeeded in covering the spread by 14+ points the previous week, BET ON the first team... i.e. play on Dallas!

2) Anytime a team wins straight up as a dog, BET AGAINST that team if they are favored the following week... i.e. play against Green Bay!

3) Anytime a team loses straight up as a favorite, BET ON that team if they are a dog the following week... i.e., play on Dallas!

dl - like your Balty (or even Mia) a little better than the other 3. Wouldn't trust Sea with a 1st time starter vs the Giant D & not enough points for me to take Atl +4 though they're at home off a bye. TB hasn't lost on the road, leads the league in INT's & now has a ground game to compliment Freeman in the pass game. Cincy's prob good with that #, but feel better with Pitt & their D with more than 7. GL whatever you play
