and the Vikes have to be able to run, cause their passing game is average at best, 9ers can stop the run as they have been, now ofcourse peterson is the best they have and will see, looks like a tough game either way...i just cant see the niners going 3-0! but they will keep it close...so ill take the 7 with the 9ers!

I am positive that I won't be touching either game. I looked at both games and all 4 teams are too inconsistent for me to develop any sort of trend in this weeks head to head matchup. I really don't like Miami since they are coming off a devastating loss on a short week while traveling to the west coast. They have the ability to run on the Chargers and utilize time of posession as they did against the Colts. But do you realize the Colts scored 27 points in just 15 minutes of offense? The Chargers have the potential to rack up a ton of passing yds on Miami's soft secondary. I think the outcome of this game will come down to the play of San Diego's defensive front 7 which hasn't been spectacular in the first two weeks. As for the other game, Pittsburgh struggles on 3rd down conversions and the Bengals defense are not only much improved, I think they can cause problems for Big Ben this weekend. I don't think Cinci will run on Pittsburgh so the game might be determined by how well Cinci's offensive line protects Palmer. If they pick up the Blitzes, Palmer has a few weapons in Henry, 88 and Coles to create good field position in this game with the potential of a mild upset or at least a cover ats. i agree with you amd, the saints vs the bills is a very tough game!!!  buffalo's defense at home is very tough and the bills are a good home dog. all i'm hearing is N.O., everyone and there mothers like N.O. they have a very good offense but there defense is average at best. buffalo will get theres against that defense!!! like the points+6 and the over(52).  my other plays are  houston-4  giants-6.5 and green bay-6.5!!!    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

Good stuff Amd. Any thoughts on who wins the Cardinals vs. Colts?

Traditional wisdom has me believing that I should fade the team off a short week. And despite the fact that the Colts actually have a very good pass defense (at least when it comes to not giving up TDs), I feel that they were exposed on MNF. The Cardinals actually dominated the Jags game by running the football, despite Warner's record breaking day. Most of my colleagues and fellow cappers seem to be on the Colts, but I am going with the Cardinals.

I like the Cardinals because of the Colts coming off of a short week and the Cardinals are dominant at home.

I might as well flip a coin on who wins the game....usually any game that has a small spread with a high total is a game that we should avoid. I love Manning and his offense but realistically, I think Arizona has a more complete package. I'm already on the over but I have a feeling Arizona might pull away with a victory.

amd can we get a little color on your buffalo pick?  reason I ask is because I shared similar thoughts on your other picks but was leaning NO for that one, as they're playing lights out and I see this game as a "who can outscore who" battle

i really like detriot on this one too,redskins offense didnt do crap last week against them rams at home,are you kidding me??i think this is it guys detriot finally snap their losing streaks.but i like frisco over minnesota its gonna be all peterson vs gore like the under also GL tomorrows pick!

Cinci same situation than beat GB on the road

I have seen a ton of folks on Detroit which is pretty rare.
All of them are referring back to the Skins game vs the Rams as their bases for taking Detroit. Wash cant score etc.

1st of all. Wash covered the # against the Giants on the road.
2nd. Detroit has not covered yet going 0-2 ATS 0 - 2 SU
3rd. Washington is better than Detroit, especially on Defense.
4th. Detroit has now gone 0 - 18 - not exactly the hot team.
5th. Washington owns Detroit. They have their # both SU and ATS

Washington 14 - 2    SU vs Detroit
Washington 11 - 4 - 1    ATS vs Detroit






Wahington covered in the Giants game with a back door td when the Giants were in the locker room already doing there press confrences.  Wahingtons offense is just horrible. Cambell may be the worse qb in the league. Portis isnt what he used to be. Cooley is there lone bright spot but Cambells has to get him the ball so figure it out. And lets not forget how the lions were up on the vikes. Lions win SU and the streak is over. Pats didnt go 19-0 Lions wont go 0-19. Lions win 17-6
