I'm in Philly on business for a few days. I've spent tonight bouncing around a couple downtown sports bars and I haven't met a single person that thinks McNabb will ever play another game as an Eagle. Everyone is ready to crown Feely the saviour of the city. "If you wanna crown his ass, crown him!" - Dennis Green.
If the Bears had McNabb last year they would be wearing rings right now. Chicago would be a great city for McNabb to land. i wouldn't be surprised at all if he goes elsewhere and has a few good years left in him.

I think Philly is about to find themselves empathizing with Redskins fans who have been searching for a solid QB since Doug Williams was run out of town. Maybe they should re-sign Timmy Chang

Reid has already said that McNabb wll be the starting QB when he is healthy.
NEWS EXTRA!!!
McNabb will return for the last game with a chance for a playoff spot with a win. The game goes into overtime. Eagles with the ball, 4th down :05 seconds to go in his own end of the field. McNabb goes to Coach Reid, says "Coach, got some Chunky Soup momma made for me?" Reid, hands him the soup. McNabb eats it, goes out there four wide receiver set, the ball is snapped and McNabb takes a knee. The clock is stopped two seconds left. The ball is turned over and the other team kicks a FG at the end of OT to win.
In the post game interview, McNabb says clearly he didn't know the clock would stop on change of possession by taking a knee on 4th down. "I was just playing for a tie. I think it's the greatest thing to come along since the invention of the double overtime. Really I didn't know there was change of possession after 4th down, I really really thought the clock would keep running and we would get another play."
Reid, dumps the rest of the Chunky soup on McNabb. McNabb finds himself as a third stringer for the Lions next season. I hear they are looking for a backup to Culpepper.
