Seattle is fighting for their playoff lives... that is at least as strong as the motivation to get a first round bye... probably stronger...
SF can't be up for this game as much as Seattle... just no way! playing at NE was their regular season game of the year... no matter how much Harbaugh warns them about Seattle, it is human nature, that if you just put all of your mental and emotional energy into one opponent, you won't have that same level again the following week...
