I'm surprised he got up from that. I mean both hits were vicious and could have ended his career.
Don't you guys understand when Brady says the defense was thinking about tackling him it's a penalty?
I mean they make rules for this guy for a reason.
Tuck Rule and no tackling QB's at the knees any more.
Couldn't have made that penalty when Palmer got his knee blown out. Had to wait until pretty boy Brady had it happen to him.
Pretty sure he has a mangina.
Yeah, the hit on Flacco by Wright was really vicious too. I don't know how he didn't end up with a concussion at best.
They made the tuck rule for Brady? That is truly amazing considering it was in the published rule book for the 2001 season. A season that started with Drew Bledsoe as the starting QB for the Patriots.
What makes it even more amazing is that the tuck rule was used against the Patriots in the Jets game on 09/23/2001 almost 4 months before the playoff game with the Raiders.
The below the knees rule was made due to what happened to Brady but don't fool yourself that rule would still have been created if it was Peyton Manning that got knocked out last season by the same type of hit.
Unfortunately the NFL believes Brady and Manning add value to their product and that Palmer didn't add much.

Also how about week 1 when Wilfork tackled Edwards by the waist and got flagged. He hit him exactly where you are coached to tackle a player.Just saw it on ESPN and it jarred my memory.
