Another person post #40 is referring to. I guess actually reading the OP before posting in a thread is asking way too much from some people (at least from the more ignorant ones).

Actually that was the first time in the history of the NFL that a new starting QB was traded right after winning a playoff game (at least according to ESPN).

But as I previously stated, I think it was smart for the broncos to dump Tebow and sign Manning.

It just wasn't right the way they did Tebow. He will have the last laugh when this is all said and done.




i'll agree to punctuation, but that's it.

why do people treat tebow like's he's a retard or some handicapped kid.  people get cut, benched, traded all of the time.  it happens every week.  it doesn't necessarily mean some invisible force is going to make a team lose or make raheem morris forgot how to defend long passes. 


ok, if tebow is really a winner or even just a legitimate nfl QB, i'm sure one of the 32 teams in the league will get him and play him.  at least half of the teams in the league have below average QB's, including the team currently paying him and the team that stands to make the most money from signing him that recently said they want nothing to do with him.   i'm going to assume that your average nfl executives and scouts have more access to information on tebow and are better at evaluating nfl talent than your average covers posters.

Tebow way better than manning and it's not even close.  Tebow has so much skill in every area and is super smart. He can read defenses and throw it way better than Manning.Tebow so clutch and handsome and i want to lick his sack.  Also he does that cool prayer pose and that's fukkin cool and not a poseur girl like everyone says.

That's exactly my point if we agree that's a good decision. Since when ONLY a QB would qualify under the OP assumption?

I don't even like Manning because I still remember how he throw his lines under the bus after a playoff loss.

Manning is a playoff chump. Period

Tebow is no better.

Karma killed Denver.  Elway/Fox should have just told Tebow after last year: "You are no good, now fuckkk off chump". But they didn't. They lied to his face, then when they were able to get manning,  they traded him. Karma will now haunt Denver as long as Elway/Fox are calling the shots.
I also think Tebow sucks,  and Manning is better,  just the way it was handled could have been done better

I agree that it was smart for the broncos to take Manning over Tebow. The guy is a future hall of famer while Tebow sucks at QB.

However, signing a contract that has you paying a 40 year old with neck issues $20M+ a season (IIRC) is another issue.

Manning's best years have past him. Time to be put out to pasture. 

 PS, what was he thinking signing in Denver?  Manning has always sucked the hairy nut in cold weather. Did he think Denver did not get cold
