The Colts and Jags always seem to play close games and I cant predict how long the starters will play for Indy regardless of what the media reports. I cant find myself taking a side on this game so I am leaning towards the Under. Going off of my belief that this will be a close game and I cant see the Jags putting up alot of points the way their offense works, I really like the under in this spot.
Lets take this one to the Bank Fellas.

I agree....If the Jags have any shot at winning this game it needs to be low scoring. Having a successful running game and controlling the ball is the only way they win.....

Sorry Bunk, I'm leaning towards the Colts on this one but I must say I do like the under. I think Manning will torch the Colts secondary and the Jags don't have much of a pass rush. I do think the Jags may get some timely turnovers in the red zone by mixing up the cover two as well as bringing a man-to-man blitz scheme. They will be bringing the wood on d also, very physical game which bodes well for the under.
Mo-Jo Drew will be able to run the ball effectively and he should be very effective in the screen game. But unless Drew breaks a couple long td's (which he can very easily do) I don't see them putting up more than 13-17 points.
Colts put together an effective run game with Addai and Hart running between the tackles against an ok Jags run d with or with big John Henderson.
Timely turn overs from Manning mistakes and good d from the Jags will keep them in this one for most of the game, but a late score from Manning will put the game away for the Colts win and cover.
See this one going under 43, with good, solid fundamental defense, and decent running games to keep that clock ticking. Not to mention Peyton will complete most of his passes which will also keep the clock running.....tiiiick tick tick tiiiiiiiiicccckkk

No play on either team tonight. I just cant get an idea of which way to go with it. 100% on the Under however.
Spiller, I agree with all of your points you made. I would also add that the colts will be working the run game in more and more in these last few games to get the rookie backs more experience heading into the playoffs. They will need to establish the run in the playoffs and what better way to get the RB's ready than real game action in the next 3 weeks. This game is has UNDER CITY written all over it.

I am leaning the under tonight too. A really good 2H bet is to bet an INDY under if INDY has the lead and they covered the 1H over. Just an FYI on some trends that I have been monitoring.

good point, Hart should get some good looks tonight, might run a few screens or check the ball down to him tonight as well. He should def get some touches. Interesting matchup between two rookie tackles against Freeney and Mathis. Monroe and Britton are good, but they are rookies going up against seasoned vets. Should be fun to watch as I don't see Gerard looking to go downfield much, especially without a healthy Sims-Walker. Underwood and Thomas are good but they lack the speed Sims-Walker brought to the table.
I think a good solid running game with short routes, and 3-5 step drops will be the way the Jags go tonight.

Hey Bunk i'm on the under with ya but i'm gonna wait it out a while as the line is slowly rising like it usually does in prime time games. Public loves overs in televised games as i'm sure you already know and it's at 43.5 now at my book!

To go along with that, a few more reasons the under looks solid:
1) Yes the coach stated everyone who is healthy will play a full game tonight. HOWEVER, it just so happens that the colts injury list happened to triple from their past game to this Thurs Night game aka no one important is getting a ton of minutes tonight.
2) Bums in for the Colts while the Jags look to keep Playoff hopes alive. Jags need to control the clock by playing their smath mouth football aka the clock will diminsh QUICKLY tonight
I think I am gonna make this a bigger play than originally thought.
Loving that Under Fellas. Lets take the Books money tonight

Jacksonville gonna pund the rock, Colts gonna get practice establishing the run for playoff time and when Manning does throw it will be short dump offs which will keep that clock rollin. Lets do this fellas.
