So, I am 37 years into my sport betting life. The first 10 were terrible and then 10 middling ones and now over the last 17, I have been pretty good. I have learned how to analyze games and lines and not be too much of a smelly mackerel most games.
I will admit, Tom Brady has taught me quite a lesson over his career. Simply put it is this, bet on Brady. Although we all know how good he is, Vegas cannot really ever give him credit enough and year after year, time after time, the guy is a cashing machine ATM over the course of a season. This has led me to my mantra, Never Bet Against Brady (full disclosure here, I fricking hate the Patriots too but this is about money)
Over the last couple of weeks, I am starting to see a trend with young Patrick, that resembles that of the GOAT to a tee. This week, depending on your source, I see 70-92% of the money on the Chiefs, despite that, the line is holding fairly steady. Now normally, public plays like that would make me automatically just take the other side and over time, this strategy has worked for me. That said, Patrick may have a little Tom in him as a covering machine. The defenses are different for sure, as it the coaching, but I am going to keep on eye on him going forward and I may have another mantra of Never Bet Against Patrick.

I know TB has Brady and Gronk, but this isn't the Patriots anymore.
I agree that Brady when he was on the Patriots, you should avoid betting against him. There would be fishy lines all the time, and he would still cover them.
If they had lost the game before, you could count on him to regroup the squad and come back the next game.
I don't think a Brady-led patriots team would ever lose 38-3 to anyone. I'm just saying Brady-Pats and Brady-Bucs are completely different teams.
Mahomes is a great special player, but I don't think I can remember a time where the Patriots went 1-7 ATS during any 8 game stretch. It's just that vegas values KC so much, so their lines are pretty inflated. Definitely best QB in the league, and probably multiple MVPs in his future, but he's not on Brady's level as far as never betting against him (with the spread).
