Well I am heading out to Vegas in the morning for the big game.
SCHEDULE:
Everyone is bringing up the fact that SL played the 49ers tough, and how could the champ lose to them, but lets take a look at Baltimore.
Baltimore beat KC 9-6...really? They snuck by SD on Ray Ray pulling a first down out of his rear end. Then they lost to Pitt with Charlie Batch at the helm, they lost to the Skins with RG3 running the pistol. Then in the playoffs they played Indy who has a terrible defense, Denver on a blown coverage. Also in the Denver game they allowed 2 SPT touchdowns. They did very well against NE, but lets not forget they did not have Gronk or Talib who left early in that game. Brady seemed to be putting pressure on himself and he really did not perform that well.
SF demolished GB, no questions asked. SF was losing to ATL on the road by 17, then they decided to play football and beat ATL. They never waivered, they handled their business.
RAY FACTOR:
Ray Lewis is retiring, he is a real gem. Awesome motivator, Murderer and PED abuser. This PED story is definately causing a strain on his mentality, you can see it on his face during all of his interviews. Ray Lewis is old and slow, which will be exploited by Vernon Davis. This is the passing of the torch of the best LB in the game to the new best LB in the game, Mr. Patrick Willis.
FLACCO ARM:
The deep threat of Joe Flacco's arm. He has been winging it around, and everyone is concerned about SF getting beat deep. Yes, SF has been beat deap this year, because they are extremely aggressive....do you really think they are not game planning for this threat? I think they will be ready for the deep threat.
VENUE:
The venue benefits the 49ers. Many may not think this is not that big of a deal, but Kap beat the Saints here on Nat TV. Any athlete knows that if you have success on a specific field, when you go back to that field you remember the success and have confidence. Also Kapp is fast as stated by many very good NFL D players, is he faster inside on turf or outside on natural grass.....? I think we all know the answer to this....
BROTHERS:
Jim or John....John already beat his utlra-competative little brother last year. Jim has out done his big brother in every level of sports they played and I believe he beats his big bro on Sunday.
AKERS
:
My concern is if the game needs to be won by FG's, Akers is definately a mind F^*&, right now. Though, I don't think he will be needed for any game time heroics.
GAME:
I look for the game to be slow paced, alot of defense. I don't see either team punting or kicking to the return guys in attempt to elude the big play. Long commercials = long breaks, which slow the pace and stop momentum.
Look for SF to get out front and slow the pace with runs by Gore, James and Kap.......
Last but not least. I will give credit where credit is due. The Ravens are playing inspired. Flacco is on a great run. Ray Lewis is an awesome motivator. They are healthy, but I just don't believe they are a better Football Team then the 49ers. Like every game played, the team that makes the least mistakes and does not turn the ball over will win this game, that is a fact........
I will be on SF -3.5, unless the Ravens continue to get pounded and drop it to -3 for me on Saturday night. ![]()
I will be on the alternative line of SF-7.5. ![]()
Under 47.5 ![]()
Vernon Davis to win the MVP 20-1![]()
And I will sprinkle some funds on other props.......
Good Luck Everyone.
