I'm thinking of making a ML play on Det this week. A combination of a few things make me feel this might be Det. first win...I actaully thought Jack at home was going to be their first win.
1) Det. has been playing some competitive football and have held the lead, and in some case double digit leads, in a number of their games this year. This is why I believe, although they may have the worst record, this is not the worst team in footbal. Oakland may win that award and I still wonder how in the world they have a win, let alone 3 of them.
2) NO is done. I know people will argue that they don't want to be that team to allow Det. their first win, but I think they had bigger dreams that were shattered with a loss last week. They know they aren't going to make the playoffs so they may just pack it in.
3) Lastly, this is the season finale and I know the fans and players will be up for this game.

so to stay in this one they'll have to score and score often...hanson is having a gr8t yr but the downside there is that a lot of their drives have turned into 45-50-yd FGs; you're not gonna keep pace with the saints that way
