There's a lesson to be learned here everyone:

 

register the firearm.

 

Then you can take it many places.     Did those guys that brought AR-15's to some political rally seem worried about getting arrested?  No.               Some people say gun laws need reform.  Some say they are fine.  As for me - I just watch sports.

This is one good reason the jails are so crowded, throw in every tom dick and harry, what about Donte Stallworth got only 25 days in prison for killing a poor defenless person with his car.

If stallworth wasn't barely over the limit he wouldn't of got any time at all. When do people learn that cars are bigger, and to maybe just maybe use a crosswalk? As for burress good why take a loaded gun into a night club in the first place?pointless I would think. There has to be more to the story that he would take a plea for two years in prison.

It's not BS that Plax is doing 2 years. It's BS that he has to do more time than the Vicks and Stallworths of the world for -- IMO -- a lesser crime.

It's all relative.

Vick got sentenced 23 months? Plaxico 24? not big of a difference, and Plexiglass plead down so he chose i himself instead of going to trial.  I'm still not seeing how it is a lesser crime?He took a loaded gun into a busy club so he could look cool like pacman jones

As for Stallworth he did the right thing called police and waited for them to show up. Where Burress tried to cover everything up, and lied to every official there was. I don't take to much faith in the media at all, but an accidental shooting at Applebess was his purpose for being in the hospital???come on

I hate to agree with Wall here, but wasn't there a mandatory minimum of 3 1/2 years for an unregistered firearm?  He decided not to go to trial and plead guilty and agreed to the 2 years...be pissed at the legislators for creating the laws, not the DA or judges for enforcing them
 
He has plenty of money for legal advice, not to mention a bodyguard.  Just get a license.  Simple solution...

Brutally murdering hundreds of dogs / Driving drunk and killing someone > carrying an unlicensed loaded handgun.

Props to Stallworth for "doing the right thing", but he still killed a guy while driving drunk. I feel like if you have time/wherewithal to flash your brights to warn someone in the street (as Stallworth reported he did to the police) you should have time/wherewithal to swerve and or hit the breaks.

And Vick lied to everyone about the dog-fighting ring until he ran out of excuses.
