Keeping it simple with this one. These teams know each other well and always play close, low scoring games. I don't think this one will be much different.
I had PIT last week and thought this veteran, well-coached team would come out and play well off a loss as their history had suggested they will. I was wrong and Pittsburgh failed to show up. Just about every player on offense was terrible as they committed 8 turnovers and all 4 running backs lost fumbles. Batch sucks yes but another week of practice and looking to rebound should have him playing better. Getting Antonio Brown back healthy as another weapon to stretch the field and make plays when the ball is in his hand is a big boost. Polamalu back in this one as well. Woodley is out but his backup Worilds is a guy PIT has been high on in recent years but has always battled nagging injuries. He actually leads the team in sacks despite limited snaps. I expect the Steelers to respond and play much better this week.
Despite their record the Ravens have had trouble against good defenses and have had trouble blowing teams out this year. In nearly three months the only games they've won by more than a TD have come against Cleveland and Oakland. Despite the rivalry and chance to bury Pittsburgh I also think motivation may not be 100% for Baltimore. They are home off two real tough road games including a huge comeback on the west coast last week and they've already beat PIT on the road. The Steelers on the other hand have lost 2 in a row and need a win bad so they should be 100% focused. I keep thinking back to minutes before the Texans game when Ed Reed told Terrell Suggs not to push it too hard because they can afford a loss and the big picture is more important. With a 9-2 record and 3 game lead in the division that line of thinking may creep back in.

In order to strikeout you need to whiff three times. I've bet the Raiders the last two weeks and whiffed both times so I may as well go down swinging.
Last week was really the only time recently the Raiders failed to show up. They had outgained opponents in 5 of their previous 6 games before embarrassing themselves last week. I think they show up and play hard this time because of last week's no show and messages being sent to players like McClain that actions and changes will be coming to those who screw around and don't play hard. We're at the point where jobs are at stake for these guys.
From the Browns perspective yes they are a scrappy team but this is a completely different role for them as they are favored for the first time all year. I like to go against bad teams in unfamiliar roles especially when they are expected to win. Not a great spot here either after a tough OT loss to the Cowboys, followed by a big win against their rivals, I could see them coming back to earth playing way out west against a bad team. When the two most important guys on a football team in Shurmur and Weeden are as inconsistent as they are I just don't think they should ever be laying road wood and fading them longterm should be +EV.
I'll either hit a homer on an 0-2 count or go down swinging ........................or possibility get caught looking.........like an idiot..........with the Raiders again today.

I'm aware the weather is horrendous in Oakland and it probably favors a run team like the Browns but I still like this spot for Oakland and think it trumps the weather situation.

Nice week Mac...cashed on Fins and Rams also but got bent over by the Titans..Seabags made it a nice overall week though.
any lean for tonight or tomorrow? Like the Skins teased to 7.5+
Nice bets buddy!
Nothing for me tonight. Both of these teams are on my unplayable list (a list which will be adding the Raiders effective immediately).
Not sure about tomorrow either. Some really good quotes from the Redskins earlier in the week. I have a feeling they will be a popular play though. This may be one of those games where what the public/forums is on actually matters. More Washington bets = a reflection of Redskins buzz. That buzz will get the Giants attention, we'll see if it matters. Long way of saying most likely a pass. Actually rooting for a Giants win so I can fade them next week.
