I like your trends but you're comparing this patriots team to past pats teams. That's like saying "the lions are 3-20 in the past three years following a loss so they will lose again"
The fact is the lions are a different team this year so throw out their recent historical trends or follow them to the grave.
Same with the pats. Can't compare them to the teams of the last 7 years, their run is winding down. I'm playing jets or nothing. All of the world is saying "the patriots cant lose 3 in a row" like its never happened in history. This team isn't the same.........
That said, I'd make a -small- play on the Jets. It's still hard to pick against the pats in this scenario and the game will come down to the wire.

How bout the fact that the Patriots had 4 turnovers and still had a chance to win the game? 4 Turnovers and the Giants still only had 17 total points with 2 minutes left to go. Yes the defense gave up a last second touchdown but that happens. This defense has gotten ALOT better then people think and I think it will show this weekend against the Jets and the sub-par offense
you mentioned the patriots 4 turnovers but the only reason the game was close was the two costly turnovers the giants gift wraped to the pats a stupid INT in the redzone and a fumble on a punt without those two turnovers the game was not close .

I could say the same about the Jets, your telling me this Jets team looks like the old Jets team? Besides the comfortable win over the Bills last week the Jets have not looked the same and have had to come back from big deficits to win a lot of their games. The Bills have one of the worst run defenses in the league and it was no surprise the Jets could ground and pound against them. The patriots are much more aware on how to beat the Jets.

So the Jets offensive strength just happens to be the Pats defensive strength.
Also, the Pats lead the league in passing and the Jets have the 6th best passing d allowing 196 ypg in the air.
It seems like both teams offensive strengths play right into the oppositions defensive strengths.
I would probably play the under if I could get this game at 48 or higher. With the Pats getting 1 on my book right now maybe put the under and the Pats into a teaser. I'm not huge on teasers but it's always an option.

Good bet but heres the real thing, the Jets made the Pats look way better then they really are, the Pats Defense is still Terrible and if you press the Pats wr they go no where, You do need a pass rush to make this happen and its obvious the Jets didn't have one thats why they played off the wr. Pats will lose in the 1st rd of the playoffs like they do every year.
