Patriots favored; Brady may not play

Tom Brady may be held out of the Patriots preseason game tonight hosting Tennessee. The rest of the New England starters and possibly including Brady are expected to play roughly 2-3 series. RB Laurence Maroney is doubtful to play.

Tennesse is expected to play its starters into the second quarter including QB Vince Young.

New England remains a 5-point home favorite over the Titans tonight with the total set at 35.

I expected at least 3 series out of Brady and starters.  Did not hear about Brady not playing.  I had the Titans starters' playing time about right.
 
I held at 2 units because of all these factors.  My line is -5.
 
Last year vs. Wash, the pregame word was that the starters would play the entire 1st half - they did - and some into the 3rd quarter.  With that info. LY I jumped on the Pats for 5 units for a nice win.  Conditions will not be the same this year, it appears.

Yes you read that correct... the patriots are not that good!!!!

why you guys buying into this garbage... some of you are probably making super mvp props on brady already lol

well, it would have been a great pick but after 3 qtrs the pats have 4 ints and ten has has fumbled once

turnovers are the single most important aspect of football and they're almost impossible to foresee

Pats 0-2 losing to the mighty bucs and titans.  You said the titans offense struggled?  Brady 15-28 2 int and a td from you super bowl mvp.  Come on new englanders brady was yesterday.  I have absolutley no idea why you posted those lines at -3.5 why are you comparing games with a 3.5 line to a game that opened at a 6 pt line  their is no trend to follow their.  Its like saying ohio state beat to high school teams they were 50 pt favorites against then using that information when they beat michigan by 3 points.  The trends you gave make absolutley no sense obviously you were fishing for something so you went with home field.

0-1 last night.
 
It is difficult to overcome 4 interceptions with 1 being a pick 6 to start the game.  This is something that you simply cannot predict.
 
New England starters played as I predicted with Brady going deep into the 2nd qtr.  Despite the pick 6 and another pick that killed a drive, the Pats were up 17-7 at the half.  They completely contained Young as predicted.  The defense played great.
 
Then came the 2nd half - 2 more interceptions and 20 2nd half points by the Titans.
 
Like all veteran cappers, I will bounce back after a tough loss.
