I really thought hard about this Bears game all morning. Chicago is another team on my "big fat phony" list but I just think the matchup is too much here and a rested and fresh Bears defense will cause big problems for Seattle on offense. If the Bears front 7 play tough then I think they force Seattle into some of those big turnovers they have coughed up all year. Last week the Saints front 7 was terrible and Hasselbeck had all day. I honestly wasn't that impressed with what he did last week, if you look at some of his big throws he really just threw the ball up for grabs. I can't see that happening today if he doesn't get the time to throw.

Ravens game pissed me off. They were dominating the Steelers and then just did everything the could to lose that game. The Rice Fumble crushing and Flacco's INT shortly followed. I am not a Ravens fan and truth be told haven't watched much of the the last few years but last night I really didn't see anything special in Joe Flacco. They are on the 47 yard line with a minute 30 and he fires 3 straight 30 yard bombs rather than take the middle of the field that Pitt was conceding.
I couldn't have been more off w/the Falcons game. Still unsure if the Packers are just really really good or the Falcons sort of suck. Might be a combo of both.

Guys, andy, I've been reading your picks during the season and I admit we have a similar way of think, even yesterday I believe most of you had GB and Pitts, I would know your forecast for today, I dont use to post but Im gonna do it today because I think this scenario could happen.
1. Is probable that Seattle cover the 10 points spread because they have momentum and because cutler has no experience in playoffs meanwhile haselback is an old salt. Remember Seattle is playing against the weakest link of all 'big' playoffs teams.The last 11 playoffs favorites after only one loss are 1-10 ATS against teams of at least 1 win, losing last 7 games straight up, all as favorites.
2. New York Jets, the big apple team is fighting for his life against the best team of the regular season in NFL, Tom Brady is an epic QB and Belichick is Dr. Evil. I have to admit that I bet in Tom Brady lot of times during this season, and I loved my easy money even when the weather was awful (when Brady get super powers I think), however this time things seem to be different, lets be honest guys in this league anyone can win in any given

This is how it works, lets change Mark Sanchez name for Brad Washington, Brad Washington maaaaan!! he is the man, he has a great team surrounding him, he has a lot of weapons 2008 MVP Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards, Jericho Cotchery, two stallions as RB, LT that is playing close as he was playing in the beggining of his carrer and Greene has playoff experience already, a good offensive line, they have defense, and to of the best corner backs in NFL with Revis and Cromartie, and they have a couch with thirst of revenge ( because I know Rex Ryen talks to much, but tell me you dont love the guy). Duuuude! Brad Washington has a chance, you remember last year in his rookie year he put NYJ in the Championship Game against the Colts!! now in his second year he helped his team to defeat the Colts, seems like all the public forget what this Jets are, just because the 45-3 MNF loss. Brad Washington is not Aron Rodgers but he is not Jimmy Clausen right, he had been an accurate passer in the last games, the Jets played three huge road games, at Pittsburgh, at Chicago and at Colts, and won two of three, losing only once, by 4 pts, at Chicago. Even in that loss in Chicago, they outrushed and outpassed the Bears. Now, lets put Mark Sanchez name back, you see!! one of the reason that most people in America dont like Sanchez is because he has Mexican descent man, he is half mexican and he is commanding the NEW YORK'S NFL TEAM Come On!! (actually I really think the only city in US people like Sanchez is NYC) Is TOM BRADY!!! the American Idol, he is good looking, he has a supermodel wife, he his multi billionare and he has the best QB record in NFL against fuckng awful Sanchez,this is gonna be a blow out right? Meeeehhhhhhhhh, think it twice. Playoffs favorites of less than 11 pts are 0-11 ATS (losing by 11 ppg) and only 3-8 SU if they played the same opponent in week 10 or later. The Saints were in this spot last week, and we all know what happened to them against Seattle. In weeks 15 or
later, favorites of 4.5 pts or more on 8+ gms winning streak are 0-12 ATS since 2003 playoffs including 0-8 ATS in playoffs. I dont know if the Jets gonna defeat patriots in the middle of the Frozen Foxborough but dude, I would not bet in that -9 fishy line. Cheers and Good luck!

I think it is the fact he is the face of the New York Jets and from that fact he often gets lumped into company with the elite QB when he is far from it. He needs to win it all and he will get all the love and admiration that Bradway Joe once got (and still gets) from NYC and America.
I would think the majority of America outside of Boston rather dislikes Tom Brady. Everyone hates a winner. Respect yet, but rooting for the Pats to fail. Much like many people root for the Yankees to fail.

Also, kinda like rooting the Jets with my Jets compadres every week, so I'm kinda biased there.
What to do?

Now they will really be in it to win it where a couple weeks ago they had the 2 seed locked up. Flip the setting to Chicago rather than GB. Getting points.

Both matchups next week are going to be real tough to cap. Initial leans would be GB and PIT but I am not sure. Can the Bears defense contain Rodgers. He seems on fire right now but the Bears have certainly faced him enough times by now to know his bag of tricks. Heinz field is a hell of a place to play but then again so is Indy and NE. I am a bit worried the Jets blew their load against the Pats. There was so much emotionally invested in that game to "erase" the MNF massacre this year that they might not have that fire and intensity needed to deal with a very physical defense in Pittsburgh. Then again Big Ben might rape Mark Sanchez's sister or mom or something before Sunday so who know.

I said I would do it and I'm a man of my word so here it is: Jets were the absolute better team against the Patriots. Brady looked rough as did the Pats offensive line. I talked a big talk about this game, and was TOTALLY WRONG. The Jets D showed up in a major way and made the Patriots offense look like complete scrubs. Even Sanchez didn't look half bad. I can't recall him making any key mistakes. In fact, what a throw to Santonio Holmes, and what a grab by Holmes for that endzone td. I digress fellas. Glyde, Bruuuuce, and all other Jets backers/fans, great play I can't hate on the Jets win one bit as they just outclassed the Patriots, in Foxborough of all places. That teaser absolutely murdered my winnings for the weekend. Shame on me! I'm leaning Pitt and GB right now, but those are games I'm going to take a hard look at tomorrow, and throughout the week.
