Sorry for the wait those of you who care, and sorry to those of you that think you are so funny with your little jokes about this, that, and the other thing, trying to take me down.
On to more important things...I don't want to start off bashing the Broncos in any way, because their record is their record, it doesn't matter how they got their wins, what matters is the fact that they have those wins. This is a good football in Denver, and I personally have been on them throughout their run this year until last week. I happened to be right playing the Ravens, and I happen to think that I am right againt tonight playing the Steelers. Denver's bubble has burst...and it is going to be really hard to rebound for this minor slip-up last week against the Ravens by inviting the defending Super Bowl Champions in on Monday Night Football after two weeks to prepare...not to mention the Steelers are on a little bit of a roll themselves, winners of their last 5 games. The Steelers are use to playing a big stage, so don't let that take you away from the Steelers. What Denver saw last week and struggled with, is only a glimmer of what Defensive Coordinator Dick Labeau is going to be bringing in this matchup tonight. The Steelers are a lot better football team that the Ravens, who manhandled and exposed this Broncos team. The Steelers got a huge win at home before their bye week against a tough, tough Minnesota team. They battled through adversity in that game, but came out winners in the end. The great thing about that win and that game is this: They have a lot to get better on, and learn from, but at the end of the day, they still were able to win. The Broncos do not have enough talent to match the Steelers tonight. Yes, the steelers have some injuries on their team, but so do the Broncos. I haven't heard a lot of talk about the Broncos offense this week. THe same offense that everyone was drooling over, and how effecient they were under McDaniels, etc. Well did anyone watch the Broncos last week? I did...their offenese that had two weeks to prepare for the Ravens only had 200 total yards of offense. With all due respect to what the Broncos have done this far, it doesnt mean anything tonight. We have two teams that are about to go in two different directions. The Steelers are a team that starts to pick it up at this point in the year and really become one of the elite's. The Broncos have some issues that they still need to iron out, and they wont get that done tonight on national television. Pittsburgh can stop the run better than anyone...and when you shut down the Broncos running attack, the only thing left to beat you is Kyle Orton. Kyle Orton is not going to be able to beat the Steelers tonight because the run defense of the Steelers is going to put the Broncos and Orton in long 3rd down situations, where Pittsburgh defense can get really creative. Essentially what you are doing tonight if you are betting the Broncos is this: putting your money in the hands of Kyle Orton to win you the game. Yes, his numbers are great this year...but keep in mind, those are numbers when they were able to run the ball well enough to not have to become one-dimensional....which is a kyle orton killer....if Denver needs him to throw the ball a lot tonight, which I truely beleive is the case...then Denver is screwed, and so are those who backed them. You better hope that Denver can be successful running the ball....which is putting a lot of hope in something that is a tall task, considering the Steelers defense has not allowed a 100 yard rusher in their last 25 games. Not even the Vikings and Adrian Peterson could accomplish that feat...I am laying the points with the Steelers tonight
Pittsburgh Steelers -1

I don't know anyone who can get the steelers at -1......the best I could get is -3. Is that still a solid play for you if you had to give the 3 instead of 1?
Thanks in advance..C

Love the new coach for Denver. Really knows how to analyze a game and I don't think Pittsburgh is as hungry this year after winning the Super Bowl. Local still has Denver +3 1/2 I'll throw my money on a fired up Denver crowd.
