As for the action coming in on this game ...I showed you the percentages and it's pretty even .....
If the Titans win tonight ....and Vince Young looks good in the process ....you can believe the Titans will no longer be underappreciated , underrated , and underwagered ...
and this train that they have been riding in for the last 10-12 weeks of regular season will make a final stop in squarestown and get a whole new set of passengers coming in ...
As for who's going to win this game straight up ...in my opinion
it is a coin toss ...and I give a slight edge to the Titans ...
6 out of the last 10 Titan's games have involved games ending with a 3 point margin and out of those 6 the Titans have won 4 of those contests ....
By contrast , New Orleans in the last 10 matchups has not been involved in a single game that was decided by 3 or less...with either decisive victories or losses in each case.
If it is a tight game ( as expected by the spread ) through 3 quarters ... It would be the type of game Tennessee , not New Orleans has been involved in with regularity ...
So, even though New Orleans is playing at home , and the crowd will be very loud , the Titans have acquired experience in these type of situations and with some good success that may prove valuable down the stretch .....
As for my opinion on the Over / Under .....here it is ....
I don't have one and I don't care ...
I like both of these teams ...but the way these teams have been playing ...I have to give the edge to the Titans ...
They are a solid running team , have an underated defensive unit ..and have proven to be road warriors , so the venue won't intimidate them ....
They are simply more balanced than the Saints , and we all saw once before under the headlights what Vince Young is capable of doing .
Some players love the spotlight , and while that was in College ...now it is his time to showcase his talent , heart , and will to win in the pros on MNF ..........!
I have a feeling he will do just that .
