FALCONS +3 1/2
The home dog. Bush out certainly boosts Falcon weak run defense. Redman played for this coach in college. They are on the same page with this offense at least. This matchup has always been close in the past regardless of the standings.

I agree. Redman played well against the Rams. I know they aren't good, but the Saints D isn't much better. Redman knows the offense having played under Petrino and he knows he also has a shot at becoming a real starter one day b/c the Falcons are in trouble at QB. I like the Falcons to keep it close

Why is everyone on the redman bandwagon. Hes couldnt make other rosters, was selling insurance and now ppl are actually pinning their hopes and MONEY on him. WOW. Saints win by 17

There was nothing close about this matchup last year on MNF!!!! ALthough all the emotion was with NO last year, ATL has some emotion tonight, wanting to let people know that they are going to be ok without Vick. I think the half point is pretty important here, my gut tells me to go with ATL. My wallet tells me to go with NO. I hate the NBA, but that looks like the only option for me tonight.

Was Bush really that good this year? 24th in the league in rushing, thats good? Bush being out probably hurts the falcon run defense.||an_fight.gif' border=0>

the saints will line up a professional running back behind drew brees tonight. maybe he wont be as well known as deuce or reggie, but aaron stecker and pierre thomas, a rookie who looked impressive in preseason and who as performed well when given limited carries in regular season, will peform well enough. also, i think drew brees will throw it a lot more tonight than 34 times as in the first game.
as far as chris redman, if he was that good, he woulda been playing somewhere already. for some reason in new orleans the saints always struggle with the falcons, but in atlanta, it has been a different story. no doubt these are two flawed teams, but i cant see the falcons winning this one, especially after the way the saints gave tampon bay the game last week. thanks to shitty play calling and an ill executed play by bush. the only thing he executed was the saints.
saints 31-17 tonight.

and falcons06 let me call this to your attention
"ATL has some emotion tonight, wanting to let people know that they are going to be ok without Vick." hasnt atlanta had 12 games to do that already?
