PITT rushing yards 147.5 > MIA rushing yards 115.2
PITT T/O ratio +5 > MIA T/O ratio -4
Versus like teams:PITT comes out on top 3-1...They both played CLEV, BUFF and NYJ...PITT beat CLEV by 27 points away in week # 1, they beat BUFF by 23 points at home in week # 2 and they lost to the NYJ by 3 away in week # 11...MIA lost to CLEV by 10 points away in week # 6, they lost to BUFF by 3 points in week # 10 and they lost to the NYJ by 3 points in week # 3.
While I could have kicked myself last night...having taken NE -24...what was I thinking??? Yeah..I was thinking..Belichick is a great motivator...and NE is on a mission...why jump off a winning ship now?...but NE had clinched their division with BUFF's loss...and on paper PHIL and NE looked kind of close offensively and defensively...I also did not think that Feely was going to have the great game that he did....whatever...no more crying over my loss. Tonight I just cannot bring myself to backing a piss-poor team with a rookie QB at the helm. PITT is coming home off a loss to the NYJ and are battling to stay atop the AFC North. This game reminds me a little bit like the NYJ/DAL match up on Thanksgiving...PITT...in a rout...30-MIA 10.

System #1...After week 6, fade the favorites on Sunday, not off bye, if they won their previous game by eight or less, scoring 13-43 pts, with their line being set anywhere from -6 to +6, if they had more than 2 field goals in that game...33-2 ATS !!!
FADE: Seahawks, Browns and Giants...
PLAY ON: Rams +3, Texans +3.5 and Vikings +7.5
OK, we can say that it was a fluke for the Giants, as they are #9 in TD/drive offense, but against Detroit of all teams ? Detroit D is ranked #23 in TD/drive allowed. Minny D is ranked #9 ! Minny proved last week that they can run no mather who they use at that position. NY was very focused last week as they wanted to shut down the critics after the Dallas game but now they could be flat especially with two taugh road games comming up...
Seattle is #18 in TD/Drive offensively but they are not as good on the road as they are at home. They are more of a field goal offense away from home. St.Louis played two 'almost' perfect games in last two weeks and they will be trying hard to win their first home game of the season. The line in this game did not move all week long and the public is all over Seattle...This could be the sucker bet of the week.
The only concern for Houston is the weather. They have not been playing in cold weather yet this season and Cleveland is a TD scoring machine, especially at home. However, Houston is getting healthier and this is a different team with Shaub at QB. This one could be decided by a last second field goal.
Monday Night Football System...After week 8, play on winless teams if their combined margin in previous 3 games was -10 or lower...30-4 ATS
PLAY ON: Miami +16
There are two sure things about this Mimi team...first, they lack talent, big time. Second, they are not quitting. Gotta love the Dolphins now. The Steelers are vulnerable now and even if they bring their A game this week, they might strugle against Miami. Indiana was in similar spot last few weeks...They were hyped by the media, suffered a loss, lost their mojo and couldn't recover in following two weeks...

GL Sportsladyd, I'm on the Steelers as well. The only thing that scares me is that the numbers disparirty between the Steelers and the Jets last week was even worse. On paper, the Steelers should have cleaned the Jets' clocks, but we all know how that turned out. I'm going on P'burgh being at home on MNF anyway.
PIT -16 / Over 38.5

My Lady.... It has been raining here for two days straight. They just put new turf on due to high school A, AA, AAA, AAAA and Pitt playing on Friday and Saturday. Last time they did that the turf was loose. HOWEVER I would stay with the Steelers because Willie will run forever and then the passing game will be easy casue Hines and Company will be wide open! Steelers 35-3
