I was thinking about hitting Denver -7. My book permits me to buy the 1/2 point and I think that this is a solid play for Sunday.

Denver (6-3) is on fire these past couple of weeks as Peyton Manning and the wide outs are finally starting to click. I've also been impressed by Denver's defense since the New Orleans SNF game in Week 8.

This game on Sunday is going to be huge for Denver as it will practically determine the AFC West and their route into the playoffs. Now, that doesn't mean that it is going to come to them easy because San Diego (4-5) is playing for their opportunity as well. They're in second of the AFC West trailing on two games, winning this game would bring them a lot closer.

However, I think that Denver is the superior team and will understand what is at stake here and will leave it all out on the field. If I wasn't coming off a -$1,350 loss weekend (hit big the weekend before and donated it to Vegas during the Portland game last Thursday, Pittsburg and Chicago games last night, I would be going significantly higher on this play.

What do you all think? Am I off?

It&#x27;s going to be interesting to see where the line goes in the Balt/ Pitt game.  The status of Big Ben may be an over reaction initially, so I&#x27;d look at all the variables now and jump on anything that exceeds the value he gives to that team.  It opened with him available at Ravens &#x2B; 3 1/2.  If it only goes down a point and I can buy a half, I&#x27;m probably still backing the Ravens. I know this isn&#x27;t the same Ravens D that&#x27;s played Pitt so well recently, but the offense is a little better, especially Flacco and the down field passing game.  Points will be at a premium, and I like the Ravens chances of scoring more without Big Ben in the game.                              LJ

buffalo, miami is worse, plus with fred jax ruled out, cj spiller gets all the touches for buffalo, def a good thing

Buffalo definitely jumps out to me too. You're always at a coaching disadvantage when backing either Chan Gailey or Norv Turner, but the Dolphins are clearly regressing into the team most of us thought they would be...not very good. I have to admit the line is a little disconcerting. I fully expected the Bills to be laying the token 3 for home field, not a pick 'em.

It might be time to take Jacksonville. Houston is coming off their biggest win of the year, and they've already dismantled the Jaguars in Jacksonville. All 3 double digit home favorites from last week failed to cover the number. Surprisingly, the Jags are a perfect 4-0 ATS on the road.

New England is going to kill the Colts on Sunday. Indy is simply not in their league yet. Belichick will have some defensive schemes set up that Luck has never seen before. The Pats offense will score on more than half of their possessions.

Lions are 4-5 beating Jax, Seattle, Philly and StlGB is 5-1 last six blowing a 24-3 lead to Indy sleeping in the 1H and are built like a dome team. Also coming off a bye week.GB -3

I like a rested GB as well. DET is a coin flip, who knows which team shows up...Panthers are a mess and TB is rolling. Although a divisional game, Freeman is playing well enough to take the W.

Carolina getting points at home. Defense is playing well, and Freeman&#x27;s had it way too easy this past month (NO, KC, Oak, etc.). Line of the week to me. Definitely like Miami as a dog in Buffalo too.

And let&#x27;s not forget Oakland catching 4.5 (probably higher by kickoff) against the worst defense to ever lay points on the road. Good spot for them coming off an embarrassing loss.

I am liking Eagles &#x2B;4, just locked it in for a small play, may add more.&#xD;&#xA; Usually these division games are close, they both need it bad, and &#xD;&#xA;Foles may be an improvement over Vick (yet to be seen, but can he be &#xD;&#xA;much worse?) team seemed to have a little more energy when he was in &#xD;&#xA;there.Too square?Leaning GB -3, maybe a 1H bet since Detroit is usually a bad 1H team.Saints -4.5

CLEVELAND &#x2B;8, is the first play that I locked in . Line opened at 9.5, and reverse line movement pushed it down a full two points at most books!&#xD;&#xA;Cleveland has been in every game this year.Their defense keeps them in games because they bend but don&#x27;t break.
