What's up everyone...finally back at it after what was one of my worst gambling seasons in the NFL in a long time...just couldn't crack the 50% mark no matter how much momentum I seemed to have. Oh well...it was an anomaly of a season and I'm sure a lot of people were in the same boat.
PREDICTION: CHIEFS 31 BUCCANEERS 23
PICKS: CHIEFS -3, UNDER 56, OVER 2.5 PLAYERS COMPLETING PASS, 1st OFFENSIVE PLAY IS A RUN, FOURNETTE TO SCORE TD, 1st QUARTER UNDER 10.5, 1st HALF UNDER 27.5
Looking for a Super Bowl that gives us more of the same. A slow start, both teams feeling each other out, seeing if there's anything ground breaking with the schemes and looks...a few trick type plays to try and steal some points...then a nice groove starting in the 2nd quarter. Tampa Bay has been my second team behind the Patriots for almost 20 years now ever since I enrolled as a scrawny freshman at University of Tampa. I was there for the Jon Gruden, Brad Johnson, John Lynch Super Bowl team. So watching Tom Brady leave the Patriots and do the same damn thing in Tampa is absolutely beyond words. I hate to be on the opposite side of him in any Super Bowl. He just finds a way to get the job done more often than not...but I think this is a game more similar to what they went up against in the Super Bowl against the Eagles. A team that just throws so many different looks and different formations at you. The Bucs defense has been the main catalyst for them getting this far...even though the media will tell you Brady has thrown for 6 TD's a game and thrown for 400+ each time. This Chiefs team is so incredibly stacked on the offensive end and Mahomes is a generational talent...they aren't the Rams teams from the late 90's early 2000's...I put them more in the category of Cowboys of the early 90's. They are just so much more talented than everyone else playing the game and can beat you in so many different ways...focus on Hill, Kelce is running up the middle. Shut down the run? Ok, Mahomes will eviscerate you with screen passes.
Riding with the UNDER because I do see such a slow start that it'll be hard to hit 57+ points overall. I also see Brady making a mistake and turning the ball over...and I see the Bucs defense being able to at least get enough pressure on Mahomes to make him slightly more uncomfortable then he has been. Either way, should be one hell of a game...thanks for reading along if you've made it this far....glad we got to see an entire season despite what the world around us has given!
P.S. I wouldn't be mad if Brady won...but #1 rule of gambling is bet with your head, not your heart!

Would love to see Spieth get back in the winner's circle for sure! Yesterday was the best we've seen in 5+ years but there are some BIG DOGS right behind him. Smarter money is on JT or Xander.
