The Denver Broncos have the framework
of a deal in place to trade disgruntled starting quarterback Jay Cutler
to the 49ers, a source close to the team reports. The 49ers will
reportedly send their first and third round pick in this year's draft
(10th and 43rd overall), their second round pick in the 2010 draft,
aging safety Mark Roman, and former first overall pick Alex Smith.

As a Niners fan i thought about this deal and how the Niners could benefit from a big arm. Cutler is a good QB but from the antics that have been going on ( from what we all have seen from the media, and how actually knows how much is true) he might cause a problem in SF. I thought about Vick to the Niners as soon as the media mentioned he could possibily play again. He too will also cause too much drama in the city. IMO Cutler will land in Cleveland. ( didn't everyone get the message when the new Denver coached showed Cutlers jersey in white and BROWN?) Anyway it may be way off, but i found the a bit fishy, almost as a pre cursor or tip as to what was going to happen. Then the media threw everyone a loop and said Cutler will stay in Denv and now 2 weeks later hes on his way out. So Cle would be my guess as to a pick. The Niners can always go after Garcia, a QB who has proven he can compete in the NFL, can take a team to the playoffs all while staying underrated.
Just my 2cents we shall see what plays out
Thoughts?...

If this is true, Denver just raped SF. This isn't even close. One of the most lopsided deals in the history of the NFL!
How? Cutler is a franchise player and a top 5 QB in this league. And draft picks are based on potential, while Cutler is a Pro Bowler so you know what your getting....SF gets the better deal.
Detroit is pathetic....they should have done whatever possible to get Cutler even if that means trading away their #1 overall.

Cutler isn't a top 5 qb IMHO. Trading a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounder (plus a former 1st pick overall in Smith) is a just way too much. It reminds me of the Herschel Walker trade with the vikings and cowboys

If even a portion of this is true, the 49'ers are the biggest fools since the Vikings traded for Herschel. In fact, I would say the Niners would be even bigger fools. To trade anything at all for an average QB who bitches, whines, & moans over such stupidity. To give up all of those picks for the same is insanity! Singletary will be dropping his pants a bunch during halftime with a panzy like Cutler in the locker room!!!!

cutler is good but definitely not top 5. i think the walker deal involved 7 draft picks & multiple number 1's so not quite the same. the most lopsided trade ever though? how about detroit raping dallas last year for roy williams? 1st, 3rd & a 4th i believe for a bad route runner that's lazy & disappears in games.

If you actually believe the BS that you wrote here, I would love to be your bookie next year. Because, you obviously don't know anything about the game.
Here's your exercise, rank your top 10 QB's in the game today. Without even thinking, I can name 5 QB's who are better than Cutler. Plus, they don't cry like a little bitch either.

cutler is not top 5 maybe top 10. to give up 2 2nd round and a 1st round and a number 1 pick u invested. man thats a lot. a 1st and a second would have been sufficient enoug.

You sure about that, I won over 10K last year, go ahead and go thru my picks. I post my plays by units (1 unit=$100 for me).

The pretty much is a 1st and 2 seconds for Cutler and yet some ass clown says the 49ers get raped? Fool, This helps them now and in the future. Still laughing at the donk that says it's one of the worse trades in history. Obviously doesn't have any knowledge of football.

LOL! Sorry dude! But, I'm laughing at you. Not sure what I'm missing. Giving up those draft picks for an average player is ridiculous. To top it all off, for an average player who can't handle "trade talks". Wow! I now know why I take bets locally. Thanks for the reminder.

You should only be laughing at yourself... The Broncos would be doing San Fran a favor with this trade, Obviously anytime the Niners try to draft a QB it doesn't turn out to well..
You are also foolish to comment on this, you obviously are biased, probably from SD or Oakland, to think that Cutler is average.. any ass clown can look at his record as a starter and see that its not a winning one.. but why dont you look a little further and see what his record is when his defense gives up less than 21 points..
13-1!! He played with NO defense for the last two years and had 8.. yes 8 different running backs start behind him last year.
No running game and a terrible defense doesn't bode well for any QB.. I would love to see what JT O'Sullivan would have done in that system last year.. Back your talk up with stats clown
