All I have to say is have you watched the bears play offense this year? They look pathetic most the time. And the eagles are better than them at pretty much everything. If the eagles blow this game I will be really shocked. I am going really big on eagles -2.5 this week. I feel like its a cant miss, and that's the only thing that scares me. The Eagles played pretty shitty and got lucky at times but still beat a Giants team that is way better than the Bears. HF might help the Bears, but thats all they got and a good D i guess but not as good as the Giants. And Eagles will need probably 4 turnovers to give bears a chance. There only chance. I am going really big on eagles -2.5 this week!! Go Vick I feel a 21 + point win here.

PTB I noticed we have been on a lot of the same plays. New England last Turkey Day and a few others before that, and you like the Rams and this one. You sir, have good taste! Nice to see a poster who does not give a fuck about whether he is making the square or sharp play and caps the games themselves unlike 90% of the douchebags on here who have no brains but still try and outwit themselves. ----------------------------------------------------- Anyway, I agree with you PHL, their offense is dogshit. Cutler throws it up for grabs at least three times in any given game and you have to think guys like Samuel will catch it more often than not. Philly has a huge speed advantage on defense vs the Bears offense as well. And Reid loves to blitz so Cutler will be put under pressure. I love Martz and his scheme but the Bears are sure as fuck not winning games because of the offense and protection can be a big concern in this offense.
Also I live in St. Louis and saw Vick play the Lovie Smith Cover 2 twice and both times he ran for around 150 and passed all over us when he had to. He embarrassed it. I know Lovie has better horses now but Vick has much better horses than he did then. And like Urlacher said after they beat Miami last week, pure Cover 2 is all they ever run, so I think what I saw Vick do to Lovie then applies to what will happen on Sunday.
I think Chicago is only +3 because of stuff like beating the Packers at home, when that game was a lucky win and even moreso the Detroit game. Miami held them to 16 points but with Thigpen at QB they could not score any... I think Chicago is highly fortunate to have the record they have. The Eagles, meanwhile are a legit NFC contender. I like the cream to rise to the top Sunday one more time, just too many matchup advantages for the Eagles and very few if any of note for Chicago. This being the third game in 18 days for Philly is my only worry but that is outweighed by the other factors to a great degree.
I feel a blowout here as well.

Asante is OUT and will not play, also Soldier Field is in horrible condition. Chicago has had rain the last few days and there were a some other football games played on it as well....just some food for thought!

Anyway was thinking of the two games in 2004 where he just torched the Rams D (34-17, 47-17) but that was actually the season after Lovie had gone on to Chicago. The 2003 playoff atrocity vs Carolina was Lovie's last game with us. Our new DC ran the Cover 2 as well which is why I got confused, but he tried different things than Lovie did.
