We are always looking to bring our community the best betting information and analysis in the industry. One way we’re looking to do this is by bringing more perspectives into the Covers Forum. This NFL season we will be hosting a thread each week in the NFL Betting Forum where one of our sports betting analysts will break down a game for everyone. The best part of this will be the open ended communication that is encouraged to take place from community members. This is your chance to ask our analysts 'how', 'why', 'what' and 'to describe' anything in their analysis. What makes it more valuable is you and the rest of the Covers community will get to vote one the matchup of the week.
Some other notables:
Weekly polls will open on Fridays for the following week’s matchups.
Weekly polls will close Monday’s after the primetime game.
Covers analysts will be following most games but not every game. We have freelancers who follow these other games who, unfortunately, won’t be able to host forum threads.
Thursday games will not be available to choose from. We want to give our analysts at most a week’s notice and since the poll will be posted on Friday’s this doesn’t work out.
We're really excited about this event and we hope it will provide you some valuable information each week.

Bills/Fish may be the only game with implications of 1st place and a playoff spot. Personally I think they both make the playoffs and the Bills take the division.
My 2nd choice would've been the Pack/Bucs game, but Green Bay isn't gonna be that good this year, and Rodgers has too many young receivers. If I'm not mistaken he's a free agent at the end of the year. Think he goes to Detroit? They have a good O-Line and a lot of talent at WR. He could be the guy who takes them to their 1st SB. Well we'll see. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
I refuse to belong to any organization that will have me as a member.

One of the two matchups you mentioned are what I'm predicting to be chosen, but who knows people might want an under the radar game to be handicapped.
Wishful thinking, but I think Rodgers is in GB for the 2024 season as well. By that time he'll be 41 years old. Do you think he'll be as effective as Brady was at 41?

These guys today take really good care of themselves. In 2 years, if the Lions improve on defense, they could be top dog in the NFC North. If he has 1 good year left and the Lions have a young QB to sit 1 year to watch and learn, why not?

Bills dominated the defending SB champs and the Titans in back-to-back weeks and looked terrific on both sides of the ball. Phins are also 2-0 but their defense struggled against Ravens surrendering 473 yards and generating zero sacks with just five pressures. Not a surprise that this line has moved from -5.5 to -6.5 at some books (still sitting at -6 at others though).
With how explosive Miami's offense was last week and injury concerns on the Bills D including Hyde + Jackson after neck injuries in Wk 2 and Poyer, Oliver, and Settle who were all limited in practice, the Over 52.5 should get lots of interest. But the weather could be a factor with a decent chance of rain and 13 mph winds expected on Sunday. Dolphins CB Xavien Howard also missed practice on Wednesday.

Friday update: weather for Sunday now has just a 20% chance of rain, wind about 10 mph, nothing to make me shy away from Overs on totals.
My fave prop play is the O253.5 pass yds for Tua. Sure, last week was an outlier but he still had 280 yds before that crazy 4th quarter and he had 270 yds in Wk 1 despite a positive game script.
Expect Bills offense to come out strong once again and a negative game script should mean plenty of passes for Tua. Add that to a banged-up Bills secondary with Hyde + Jackson ruled out.
Over 73.5 rec yds for Tyreek also tempting with Hill getting 12.5 targets per game in the first two weeks.

Thanks for the writeup Ro, I think I’m going to take the over with these defensive injuries. I think remember hearing you on Covers 600 podcast. #respect #BOL

The correct bet for this game is to take the Dolphins. If you want to bet the over, bet the Dolphins Over. That is a much better bet than the Bills Over. Bills don't stand a chance of containing Miami's offense, with so many of the Bills' starters and key players injured.

Miami hasn’t shown the ability to run the ball. Anyone seriously assuming Tua is the real deal? Seriously? I’d be really careful about assuming the Dolphins are just going to light up the scoreboard.
And btw, these network assignments make zero sense. Nantz and Romo are doing Colts-Chiefs rather than this game? I’m not following the logic here.
