When you consider the negligible production that you were getting from Tavaris, your answer is an emphatic YES! If the Vikes had even a tinge of a respectable pass game, they would be 2-0, with 2 very impressive wins.

Well your argument is that he cant do any worse. But if you are wanting me to think this team is superbowl contenders now with Gus then you are crazy. Tarvaris might be good someday but right now he struggles. But i dont see Frerotte being much better this week. Guys like him are lifetime backups for a reason.

This should make for an interesting dillema for you this week as I guarantee you will see the majority of the ``public`` on the +3.5 and yet we are still seeing the line sail in favour of MIN.

Unless something has changed, Min still cannot stop the pass and are centered on the run. Putting Gussy in there won`t do much except create a QB controversy on a team that had supposedly `committed` to TJackson as their starter...

Teams come from behind to win games...in fact, I respect the come from behind teams as being FAR more dangerous than those who rely on large leads to win.
Carolina has shown character. Carolina has an awesome record as a road dog. Carolina is healthy. Carolina is +3.5. Let`s not overthink this too much...the `must win` angle is amongst the biggest bankroll busting novice excuses of all time.
Until Carolina folds and MIN gets their passing attack organized, why in the sweet name of anything would anyone lay chalk with this over-rated team...
