Have you watched on any football this season? Minnesota is 0-2 having gone down to two of the league's best teams, and in both cases, they were in positions to win.
Doesn't it at least make a little sense to you that an 0-2 team might just be a tad bit hungrier for a win (after blowing opportunities in their first two games) than a team that kind of backed into 2-0?

When you consider the negligible production that you were getting from Tavaris, your answer is an emphatic YES! If the Vikes had even a tinge of a respectable pass game, they would be 2-0, with 2 very impressive wins.

Well your argument is that he cant do any worse. But if you are wanting me to think this team is superbowl contenders now with Gus then you are crazy. Tarvaris might be good someday but right now he struggles. But i dont see Frerotte being much better this week. Guys like him are lifetime backups for a reason.

Well to be honest with you, I don't like this line one bit. I was just curious to see how many people are riding this whole Carolina train right now.
Bottom line, It just doesn't make any sense for the Vikings to be favored here, especially by more than field goal. Also consider the opponent in Carolina and it leaves me scratching my head even more.
Things just aren't adding up here...

This should make for an interesting dillema for you this week as I guarantee you will see the majority of the ``public`` on the +3.5 and yet we are still seeing the line sail in favour of MIN.
Does this mean that we should pound MIN...uhhh...no.
Unless something has changed, Min still cannot stop the pass and are centered on the run. Putting Gussy in there won`t do much except create a QB controversy on a team that had supposedly `committed` to TJackson as their starter...
I love the Steve Smith will bring a lack of balance to the team posts...how the team hates him and it will show...jeez murph...do your(posters, not you Chris) homework and stop relying on conjecture.
Teams come from behind to win games...in fact, I respect the come from behind teams as being FAR more dangerous than those who rely on large leads to win.
Carolina has shown character. Carolina has an awesome record as a road dog. Carolina is healthy. Carolina is +3.5. Let`s not overthink this too much...the `must win` angle is amongst the biggest bankroll busting novice excuses of all time.
Until Carolina folds and MIN gets their passing attack organized, why in the sweet name of anything would anyone lay chalk with this over-rated team...
Either take the points or PASS. Simple.
