Is this worth a nickel?
Young team, top notch D, & ATON of $ to spend.....thoughts??
Disagree. It could be the weakest division in all of football. Bills will win the east but getting past KC to get to the Super Bowl is the problem

I can agree with that but definitely a front runner and who knows, with opposing injuries involved they might just be able to pull it off.

I HAVE LEARNED THE HARD WAY DONT BET AGAINST THE PATS JUST REMEMBER TB HAS THROWN TO AT LEAST 50 DIFFERENT PLAYERS FOR TD,S AND LOADS OF OTHER PLAYERS GOING AND COMING. SO TB IS GONE SOMEONE WILL BE THERE. SO WILL THE PATS.

I have won alot of dinero on the Pats over the years and yes, many players have come and gone. But the one common denominator they always had was Tom Brady. The Pats won't win more than 8-9 games next season and the Bills will be the new beast of the AFC east.

Russo...beware...if the Pats start 0-4 or 1-5, Belichek may simply walk away and pass the torch to McDaniels and say "fuk it, i dont need this bs anymore".

What about 2008?
What about 2008?
Thorpe, yup 12 long years ago they did win 11 games with a pretty good backup QB named Matt Cassell and after perusing that 2008 roster, a more talented team than they have now, unquestionably. BUT THEY DID NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS that year my friend. No Brady, no playoffs

I would still favor the Pat's to win the divison but the Bills might break through and have more wins than the Pat's this season... How good is Josh Allen? No excuses with Diggs now on the Team... Anyone remember when a Team had more wins than the Patriots in the AFC East? You have to go back to 2000 when the Pat's were 5 and 11.. ( Dolphins won the AFC East in 2008 and the Jets won in 2002 but both those times the Patriots had the same record )

Russo-
Pats had the best defense in the league last year, that probably won't change much without Brady.
The Pats have a lot of "institutional" knowledge (cheating) which won't go away without Brady. And there is a chance their next QB can play as good as 42 year old Brady played, for one thing he will be more mobile in the pocket which is important in today's NFL.
I don't think they win much more than 8 or 9 games either, but they should be in the hunt for a wildcard, and if the Bills falter (which could easily happen), they could back into another AFC East title.
If I had to make my odds for the AFC East....
Bills 45%
Pats 40%
Miami/Jets 15%

Thorpe...Pats D will most likely be on the field a lot more now that TB isnt dinking and dunking all the way down the field with their classic 6-8 min drives.
When elite D's have to play a lot more minutes per game, their overall stats and metrics considerably fall...you know that

Packers, they still have Gilmore and probably the best pass defense in the league. Rush defense may get a little worse, but the defense will still easily be top 10, if not top 5. That will put them in contention for a playoff spot if they have any kind of offense.
