Ok, have talked myself into this play, sum things aren't adding up for TB IMO. Short week, OTR, 0-2 ATS OTR this season, and injuries. You've seen my other thread on Bucs injuries and we have 2 other key Buc players who are truly questionable, JPP, and more importantly Center Ryan Jensen. He will likely be a gametime decision but he's tough and will probably give it a go. How long will he last? I doubt the whole game if he even plays. He's the heart and soul of the offensive line and one mean and nasty dude. If he can't play, his backup is a rookie Robert Hainsey. GL if he plays going up against Hargrave and Cox, nasty boyz themselves. Lavontae David out, Kevin Minter, 9 year vet, takes over. Solid player who struggles against the pass and doesn't tackle with the efficiency of David or have his lateral movement. If any other LBs get hurt, 2 rookies on deck, Bucs are thin on defense. Davis and Bunting are already out, Winfield too, their secondary is not only thin but not very good. I see Brady on TV almost every day, he'll play but he's not 100 percent and it's his throwing hand. He's downplaying it, my words, just the way he looks and talks. Eagles have the same offensive line starting again, Lane Johnson out for his 3rd game in a row and TE Dallas Goedert out for PHI too, a key loss but ol veteran Zach Ertz who has played in all 5 games with 14 catches and a TD will be around. He's in a good position to exploit the Bucs defense fantasy players. Eagles had the nice comeback win, I think those type of wins can carry over especially in a short week. You still can't run on TB, up the middle that is, but a good situation for Hurt to capitalize with his legs, it's his strength. This game just smells bad for Tampa IMO and I wouldn't be shocked if the Eagles pull the upset.
EAGLES +7
As always good luck to all!

Nice writeup . Not to mention it's another primetime game for sleepy Brady lol. I remember Ryan Jensen from the Raven day. That dude plays with a fire. Definitely will stick up for his guys if they try to do one of his teammates dirty.

I like it Russo public will be all over Brady to dismantle this Philly defense like Kc did 2 weeks ago as a 7 pt favorite plus the beating on the Dolphins last week leaving the back door open for a Philly cover

Just checked odds. Still seeing -7, though I did see the juice at -115, so a hair higher. 70% of wagers on TB, 30% on PHI, the spread.com. Suspect it will stay in line with that, Joe Public will ride the Bucs but could see sum sharp $$$ on PHI and see a drop to 6.5 at sum books. M/L was at +245

Was looking forward to an opening weekend at the Hard Rock Sportsbook in Tampa but apparently not ready yet. Oct 15 was scheduled to go date so hang loose Floridians, should be very soon!

Just to elaborate on sports betting in Florida, it's legal tomorrow, Oct 15. But with appeals against the mobile aspects and upcoming court dates, mobile and online betting could be awhile away, next year. However, just watched the News, the Hard Rock in Tampa is simply not ready for in person betting. "Hard"to believe but true. Imagine the amount of money they're losing in on premise betting with 2 Hard Rocks, Tampa and Miami.

Keep this in mind too, in particular OTR, the Bucs are the Champs. And the Champs always have a Targeton their back. National TV game, the Champs are coming to town, expect the Eagles best effort. If I get a supreme effort out of a team and they lose or fail to cover, I'm ok with that, you can't and won't win them all. It's a lackluster effort that bothers me, kinda like my Tampa Bay Lightning against PITT couple nights ago, no excuse for failing to show up opening day.

In New York we have had casino sports betting for 3 or 4 years and it's great . It's always been a chore trying to get money out of these offshore books. I have four locals within in 40 miles of my crib. The mobile sports betting has been passed by the legislature but the Indian run Casinos here were smart enough to see the future and signed an agreement to get a cut of the action. So now we wait for the State to iron out a deal with the Indians. Glad you have casino sports betting their we plan on spending winters in Florida when the wifey retires.
