Most college
students are well aware of the saying “C’s get degrees.” But when it comes to
NFL prospects, these former student-athletes have every part of them examined
and prodded—including their minds.
Every
year at the NFL Combine teams administer the Wonderlic test to measure future
star’s aptitude – and lack thereof. This season, the big story so far is the
score of the quarterbacks. Tim Tebow scored a 22 – slightly below average for a
quarterback – not even close to the scores of draft classmates Jimmy Clausen (23), Colt
McCoy (25) and Sam Bradford (36). The score is out of a possible 50.
Some of
the previous notables include quarterback Vince Young (6), kicker Sebastian
Janikowski (9) and quarterback Marcus Vick (11). Iowa State running back Darren
Davis reportedly scored a 4, with anything below a 10 considered virtually
illiterate. Conversely, former Harvard punter Pat McInally is believed to be
the only player to ever record a perfect 50.
Below
are the averages from Paul Zimmerman's The New Thinking Man's Guide to
Pro Football.

I got 13/15 - I ran out of time and missed numbers 11 and 13.
The real wonderlic is out of 50 questions and my score would translate to a 43 haha. I wish there was some place to take this for free that way I could see what my real score is.
Nice find though.
