Tom Brady - even at age 43 - is poised to host the NFL's first "Home" SuperBowl. The NFL has stated the site will be neutral, but there will already be numerous advantages before heading into the game, just because of the stadium and location.
The Kansas City Chiefs are crumbling with injuries, particularly on the offensive line. Meanwhile, the Bucs are slowly but surely getting healthy. Two names to watch for the Bucs are Jordan Whitehead and Antoine Winfield Jr. Both of these players missed some or all of their last win against the GB Packers.
Tom Brady has led this team to places many of these players have never been. Combine that with a stout run defense - who will be going against an injured KC Chiefs O-line? Sounds like a recipe for disaster for the Chiefs.
Additionally, Tom Brady is one of the most clutch athletes of all-time. I feel like the narrative here favors Brady more than it does Mahomes. If Brady wins, he could quite possibly be viewed as the greatest team-sport athlete of all-time. Love him or hate him, you have to appreciate the greatness and the discipline he brings to the game of football every time he steps on the field.
Bucs ML at UNDERDOG is GREAT value - and is the play.

Isn't Tom already considered the GOAT / greatest QB to ever play the game?
Are you saying he is going to over take Jordan's 6 ring mantle, making #7 the end all be all? Would this make him the greatest team athlete to ever play the game? What about Bill Russell?

Tom is already considered the greatest QB. This is even more legacy, and some could say he can overtake Jordan as any "team sport" GOAT.
7 championships with 10 appearances is incredible success over an incredibly lengthy amount of time.
I feel like Russell is forgotten in these conversations, simply because of era and lack of highlights/footage. These highlights/footage will be used to tell the stories of these players for long after they retire. Some may look to this Super Bowl as a way to remember Brady - First year with a new team, no off-season, taking down the "up-and coming GOAT/Superstar" Mahomes.

Last time I checked, 'Whitehead' is listed as doubtful and 'Winfield' is questionable...starting safeties might be important against the KC aerial attack.
The Chiefs' brain trust has had time to formulate a plan to soften the blow of a depleted Oline. If the head coach and qb were pinheads, I would be worried but I am not.

Fcuk Tom. He quit on the Pats to join a loaded Superteam, with studs all over the field on both sides. Dude threw 3 picks last week on back to back to back possessions and still won the game, the hilarity. All he has to do is be a game manager to win.

Andy Reid is 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS off a bye in the playoffs with Mahomes at QB. The only ATS failure was vs. CLV in week 19. KC was favored in all four games.

I had huge money on Cleveland off KC's bye week and hit that. But it was kinda flukey how Mahommes got hurt. That game was much closer than it looked though. Cleveland fumbled a TD out of bounds.

A SUPERTEAM that never made the playoffs before he got there. Huh? Wha?

Andy Reid's a good guy, without a doubt...but his clock management skills were highly questionable when he LOST 3 straight NFC championships with Philly...and the following year he gets to the SUPE...and LOSES.
So is it "stats", or "the past doesn't matter"? We should forget his whole other life before KC? Before Mahomes?

Yes. Mahomes is the key. Forget the Philly past. Big Red and Pat are undefeated off 2 weeks and by the end of 60 minutes Sunday they’ll end up winning it somehow no doubt

bill russell isnt even in the conversation..with all due respect, dude was playing at a time when the game wasnt global or full-time professional for all participants, there were only 8 damn teams in the league,HIS TEAM was stacked with all-stars every year and nobody elses was...and he was up against 6'5" white guys wearing teeny-tiny shorts and spectacles..oh yeah, not full acceptance of black players then either.oh,and he just wasnt all that good/skilled.great for his time no doubt, but we gotta have perspective here.size and skill wise he is probably the equivalent of jarret allen today.as ridiculous as that may seem its just a simple result of time/environment that they each existed in.

Both... -3 and waiting on ML to drop down to -150 ish... parlayed Under and ML already.... full disclosure I have a shi*t ton riding on KC futures, cashed big on Tampa / KC SB prop and basically rolling that over into more Chiefs ML....had tix on Buccs 9-1 and 10-1 so my liability on KC wasn't that high before this game at about 3 to 1... BUT... I've loaded more onto KC about 10-1 now total in their favor. Go big or go home, I was on KC large last year and I'm rolling with Mahomes again....if KC loses I know ahead of time I will be at peace with my money management decisions, although I'm really not too worried about them losing

I was just poking the OP there with the Russell comment, I assumed he was inferring Brady would overtake Jordan and was just throwing a wrench into the discussion to see where it would go.

@melossinglet completely agree with everything you said I was just poking the OP there with the Russell comment, I assumed he was inferring Brady would overtake Jordan and was just throwing a wrench into the discussion to see where it would go.
fair enough.....yeah,im definitely not trying to be mean or dismissive or anything but its just soooooo tricky comparing eras.they were playing almost a different sport back then, just watch the grainy old footage to realise that.there is NO comparison,if you transported russell forward in time he would be an ordinary role player no more no less.but for sure in his time he was incredible stacked up against his peers, would never debate that.
as for jordan vs brady, its a weird one for me.i dont know a whole lot about gridiron but i think brady (and almost all quarterbacks really)should be put in their own category of being skilled at a game but NOT a true "athlete" in the way that a skill position or all around player is.like,he is brilliant at what he does but its more predicated on his intelligence/composure/temperament/preparation than it is anything physical, right??i understand of course he does have to throw the damn ball but in terms of physical gifts even his most ardent fanboy/supporter would never, ever put him in the same universe as jordan, randy moss, mike trout etc,correct??...i guess i might be splitting hairs here but it does kind of irk me and not seem right that jordan and brady are the same kind of thing when you consider the physical element of executing tasks that for most players in elite sports requires incredible strength/speed/dexterity/ballistic explosiveness all whilst remaining cerebral/calm under pressure...brady is more of a cards/bowls/backgammon player to me,haha...a skilled game-player more than an athlete/sportsman....but hey,i dont know shi.t and thats just my ridiculous take on it.
