New England could have a tough time vs Indy again...that's the only thing that comes to mind. Jags haven't seen anything like New England's offense or defense. Jags will get destroyed.

OK first of all let get this IND, JAX, SD thing straight. They will only have to play 2 of those teams max and maybe only 1 depending on what happens in the playoffs. San Diego?? Jacksonville is overrated and the Pats are a brutal matchup for them for the style they play on offense. The Jaguars are a run first team and if they get down early they are going to have to abandon the run so then you trust Garrard throwing to who again to beat the Pats in New England? Sure Garrard has been great this year but he hasn't had to win a game on his shoulders. A lot of his #'s have come in games that have already been decided and he has so few picks because he rarely HAS to make a play by himself, he doesn't have to force anything. I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid on Jacksonville's defense either. They give up over 21 points a game on the road and their pass defense gives up almost 260 yards a game on the road, which is 3rd LAST in the NFL. Top 10 QB's that they have faced on the road: Roethlisberger: 3 touchdowns 0 interceptions, P Manning: 290 yards 4 touchdowns 1 interception, Drew Brees: 445 yards 3 touchdowns 0 interceptions, Tom Brady: ???? So come on the offensive and defensive passing units for the Jags just aren't going to beat the Pats so stop the Jags crap.

The Colts. Well out of all the teams the Colts have the best CHANCE to beat the Pats if they get to the championship game, if. They are probably going to have to get past Jacksonville or San Diego if they hope to play the Pats and that's no guarentee for the Colts. But let's assume they do get to the championship game and it's the Colts @ Pats. First of all if it's bad weather the Pats have a huge edge as Peyton has crapped himself in bad weather in the past. And yeah whoever said the Colts recievers are sick with Harrison, Wayne, Gonzalez, and Clark, ummmm.........Moss, Welker, Stallworth, Gaffney and Watson?? Maybe you have heard of them. And get real, Harrison is going to be nowhere near 100% and he'll probably be a non factor. Also the Pats already beat the Colts in Indy when they came through in the clutch yet again with 2 TD's late in the 4th and I believe they would have won the Championship game last year in Indy if they had the recievers they have now. Who exactly was catching the ball last year for the Pats anyways? oh yeah that moron Caldwell who dropped 2 massive balls last year (1 in the endzone and 1 on a third down play), Moss won't do that this year.

Gimmie the best/most clutch coach of all time, the best/most clutch QB of all time on their home field and i can't see how they will be stopped.

And Cap I will bump this thread up after every Pats win from here on out. That would be 4 in case you were trying to figure it out.

Why would the giants play their starters though Mr Bator. If lorenzen starts i doubt the giants will have a chance at winning ml let alone covering.

 

Don't even worry about the likes of Jared Lorenzen.  He and his clipboard will remain as one.  The Giants will play to win, even if a couple of injured starters are held out.  This will be one of the most hyped regular season games of all-time and the hype will only grow and grow in the next 72 hours.  There is NO WAY the Giants concede this game by playing a bunch of subs.  NO WAY.  The Giants will play to win, and they will win this game.

Don't know about EASY...but Colts will beat them.

Just about the only chance the rest of the NFL has is if Brady gets hurt, and seeing how he barely gets touched in a game, I wouldn't count on it.  NE is too talented and experienced and have home field throughout.  The team is almost an all-star team.  Plus, I think the powers that be would love to see an 18-0 NE team in the SB, especially against Farve or the Cowboys.

Wow Mr. Bator I always respect your opinion but the Giants winning straight up? wow. Personally if the Giants do play their starters I think it should only be for the 1st quarter at the most. Going deep in the playoffs should be a larger priority for the Giants then knocking off the Pats in a meaningless game for them, and especially considering if they rest up it could help make it all the way to the big game where they could really try to knock off the Pats on a much bigger scale. Belichick won't be resting anybody, they don't say it but they desperately want to go undefeated and Brady and moss still have to get 2-3 TD's to break their respective TD records. Can the Giants really put up 35+? Because that is what they are going to need. Gutsy call Bator, any other leans for this week??
