Okay, say you have Sage Rosenfels as the QB and Adrian Peterson as the RB.
Why should we be protecting the QB more so than any other player on the field? Are we putting different values on peoples lives and safety now? hmmm.
I know shitty call but get over it
That may be true but incidental contact to QB's heads happen EVERY week and are not called. Many such non calls are waaaaaaaaay worse than this one. If this is the right call then you would see this penalty called multiple times every game every week. Please stop using the "it's the rules" argument b/c that is total bullshit!!!!!

Not true, they missed the holding call (look at the replay and you will see the OL was holding the left arm of pass rusher....which actually caused "the blow to the head"). The other issue is that I don't know what the latitude is on that penalty for a blow to the head, is it always an automatic 1st down. It was 4th and 18, it had a huge impact on the game. Lots of holding, pass interference, facemask, etc calls that don't get called to the letter of the rules.
That's why your argument is so weak that it was a correct call. The people complaining aren't just mad that they had Philly in bets and lost, they are mad because the refs so obviously and purposefully changed the outcome of this game. If you were on the winning side you should still agree with this sentiment as it points to the fact that you handicapping can and will be affected arbitrarily.
You should stop gambling before you hurt yourself. Getting into conspiracy theories - blaming the refs for changing the outcome of the game FOR GAMBLERS (as Philly still won straight up) is laughable. A league that suspended Hornung isn't going to get involved in fixing games - and I'm pretty sure the ref isn't on the take like some in the NBA are (or were).
A bad call cost you some money. It happens. ALL THE TIME. Grow a pair and get over it already. If you can't handle the swings and human element - you should simply get out of gambling altogether.

Absolutely not true!!!! Most of the time a QB gets an unintentional hand resting on his dome, it is NOT called a penalty!!!![]()
