do you understand football???  you don't go for 2 up 8....you make it a 2 possession game going up 9!!!  Reed doesn't give a fuck what the spread of the game is

back to the original point.  has anyone actually seen the wording of the personal foul rule or are we just assuming it says "any contact with the head"?  and if you are assuming that based on what some announcer said, don't, because those guys typically don't know shit.

RUFKM.  So your supposed to go for a two point conversion when your up 8 instead of kicking PAT and going up 9.  Do you realize that is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.  I guarantee no coach has EVERRRRR done this.  If you fail it ramains a one score game.

Hitting in the Head

  • Hitting a quarterback in the head is always a foul, even if he is in possession of the ball. Defensive players must get to the quarterback and hit him below the helmet to avoid penalty and record a sack. A blow to the head can be as simple as a slap and as violent as full helmet-to-helmet contact, but both are penalized the same--15 yards.

    • The Call Was VERBATIM CORRECT.

    i understand they are trying to keep the defenders away from the qb's head but it's a fast game and if a player touches a qb's, it shouldn't be an automatic 15 yard penalty.  they should treat it more like the facemask penalty which allows the ref not to throw the flag if a guy oputs his hand on the facemask but doesn't pull on it.

      The only call that was bad,was the one where collie got it hit,that was a clean hit,he wasnt defenseless,like they called,and the nfl told the refs,just throw the flag,just in case,which they did,that was a BAD CALL.

    For those who played Indy Yesterday think it was the right called... and for those who played Philly yesterday think it was a bad call same thing with the Over/Under... I lost both way and I still think it a set up..... lost a ton of money on that game but it was over... let get ready for Monday night.... any thought on the side/totals???

    Okay, say you have Sage Rosenfels as the QB and Adrian Peterson as the RB.

    Why should we be protecting the QB more so than any other player on the field? Are we putting different values on peoples lives and safety now? hmmm.
