Good luck with whatever you do and I would be comfortable at -1.5, but the ML was a great value last night.

All-time, the Big Red are 6-13-1 on "MNF." And since arriving here they are 1-6. It figures they won in 2008 when all the stars aligned.

last season, the curse returned as the Cardinals turned the ball over five times in the first half and fell to the 49ers 24-9.

Here's the rest of their sordid history on "MNF," which can only be explained by a hex or maybe bad coaching hires:

- In their first regular-season home game in Arizona the Big Red set the tone. A failed fake field goal featuring a lateral to 8.5-seconds-in-the-40 kicker Al Del Greco led to a loss against Dallas.

- In 1995, the Cardinals came ready for a fight. Unfortunately, it broke out in their own locker room before kickoff.

Then coach Buddy Ryan, evidently in a hurry to clean out his office, bolted off the field at the end of a 37-13 clubbing from the Cowboys.

Only the game wasn't over. Buddy already was in the tunnel out of Sun Devil Stadium when the gun went off. It went off again the next day on his tenure.

- In 1999, the Cardinals faced the 49ers and not only knocked San Francisco quarterback Steve Young out of the game, they put an end to his career. The 49ers still prevailed 24-10.

- In perhaps the most notorious "MNF" moment in Cardinals history, the Big Red stormed to a 23-3 lead against the Chicago Bears in 2006 then gagged. Coach Dennis Green's postgame "The-Bears-are-who-we-thought-they-were" rant went viral. The team went no where.

- And in 2007 Neil Rackers missed a chip-shot field goal, the Cardinals didn't recover a fumble in the end zone, the 49ers scored with 22 seconds to play and the curse prepared to take a year off.

San Francisco 39-25 straight up MNF history .609 winning percentage is 4th behind:

Seattle 16-8 .667

Pittsburgh 39-22 .639

Indy 20-12 .625

Arizona is 3rd from the bottom at 6-13-1 .325 only behind:

Cincy 9-19  .321

Atlanta 9-22  .290

I think this is an extremely valid point in that he "MAY" have lost the team. He isn't in as bad a situation as Wade Phillips or Chilly were, or as bad as I think it is in Denver, but Singletary should till lose his job at the end of the season. On the other side, they are a better team than AZ. Tough call here.

Thanks Mayfield...........I was really surprised how many threads I found of people betting the Cardinals "just because". Sometimes these games that look like 2 shitty teams really only has one and when you can uncover fact from fiction you can really have the odds on your side.
