i agree with you on buffalo here, and they will be better than the jets i feel. 10-6 is very possible for them

Brett Favre to the Vikings?  It all makes sense.  Those speedy receivers, playing in a dome so weather is not an issue, a dominant front line to keep him on his feet.  That might push them into the Super Bowl!

I Love your Write Up .....

The only Big things I disagree with is

NY Jets 10-6    ??????????????????

This team looks horrible to me . Im thinking 7-9 at best, most likely 5-11. QB is a major concern ... Buffalo swept these bumbs last year

Cincinnati Bengals (11-5) -   ... This team has 0 Defense and you said defense wins championships... 7 Wins at best...

I think New England has the easiest schedule I have seen in years , but this is not the Same team that won SB's

The defense will take a step back and god forbid if Brady get injured/// I think they win 12 or 13 , but lose in their first playoff game

BOL all year brother

Not bad predictions, however your AFC playoff pairing does not match your predictions..You have Cincy over Pitt and Jets over Chargers....

You have Jax finishing 12-4, but do not make the playoffs..

According to your writeup, the playoff teams would be
1.N.E.
2. Indy
3. S.D.
4. Cincy
5. Jax
6. Pitt or Jets(10-6) tie breaker

So your pairings should be S.D. playing Pitt or the Jets and Cincy playing Jacksonville...Just thought I would bring it up..

The Jets IMO will be the most improved team along with the Bengals.  Cincy I have reasoning to back that up except their explosive offense and Marvin Lewis having a healthy defense for a change.  If it wasn't for Carson Palmer's playoff injury, and the injuries to the linebackers last year, who knows what could have happened.

As far as the Jets, they made an incredible tranformation in the off-season.  Picking up Faneca and Woody for that offensive line, as well as Tony Richardson to block for Jones/Washington will boost this offense without a doubt.  That was the biggest reason for not winning last year.

26th in Yards Per Game
19th in Rushing Yards Per Game
25th in Pass Yards Per Game
26th in Points per Game
19th in 3rd down conversions
29th in Sacks Allowed
25th in Defensive 3rd downs

I expect all of those to improve big time this year with the big pick ups on the offensive and defensive line.  Faneca, Woody, Kris Jenkins, Gholston.  Solid team.  I'm not worried about quarterback.

So I'm very new to this site. But I found this area of the forum and thought I'd talk a little about the recent success I've had with this system I've picked up. So it's a betting system by John Morrison which I've been using since late March. With his system he guarantees a 97% win percentage in MLB & NBA! Since I've had it I'm actually 100% with 17 wins to ZERO losses. I happened to catch the tail end of the NBA season and went to a quick 4-0, and since then have gone 13-0 in MLB. I was skeptical at first but this guy really knows his stuff. Over the past four MLB & NBA seasons combined John has a record of 519 wins to 15 losses! To be honest I've never really won that much until I picked up his system, definitely recommend it to anyone. To check it out for your self just go to https://orange2006.betsports.hop.clickbank.net/

O.K., like your stuff but you need a few # of changes IMO.  The Pats 13-3 (14-2 is stretching is a bit, they will lay off at the end)  NY Jets 8-8 (still need a team leader).  Miami 6-12 they have the coach to find a way to win .
Last, flip the Tenn. and Houston Win/Losses and you will be right on.  Livin in Texas, there is only one team that will end with a winning record from Texas "THE BOYS!"

Brunshi,

Try 5 Rings on one hand (COWBOYS!!)

And the Fish will go over in the 5.5 wins.  Being a Boys' fan, I know Parcell will coach at least 6 wins from the D'fins.

I hope you just witnessed it on ESPN this AM.  They showed the winner of Titletown, USA....Boston MA.  Not Dallas.  Even though ESPN are a bunch of blowhole talking heads, this is one thing they cannot get wrong.  FU Merrill Hoge and Pitt....

Yeah Boston was the obvious choice for this one.  Pats were most dominant team in NFL history, Red Sox won the World Series in a sweep, and the Celtics dismantled the Lakers by 39 points to win their 17th title.  There really wasn't any competition here.

viking in playoff seriously there getting better but when peterson see 8 men in the box every down cause jackson cant complete a pass. i see ht e nfl being pretty even this year only really like 3 or 4 really bad teams in the nfl.falcons, dolphins, redskins, and maybe the bears and the chiefs. im really looking forward to a good competitive season.
1.i think pats might be only team with breathing room this year with bills 2nd
2.colts and jags will be fighting for 1st place all year
3.and to be completely honest with you guys i have really never fallen for the chargers hype so look for it to be one of these three in a division that will beat up on other all year. in this order and real close broncos chargers raiders
4.saints bucs and panthers will be close also but i look for the panthers to bounce back with mohammad going back to give smith a bigger more physical wideout. and panther can get that that defense going. garcia getting older cadillac coming back from injury. brees has good offense but i dont think deuce i 100% still no power back they need cause bush cannont run between the tackles and there defense is not proven on the field yet
5.nfc north biggest mystery if hype won games and division crown the vikings would already have 1st round bye. but the packers were there last year favre gone???????? rodgers unproven but i think he can get it done bears have nothing but all they had was defense 2 years ago when there offense did just enough. and the lions which i think are good .good offense improving defense..
6.seahawks 49ers cardinals or rams its a toss up rams injured big time last year.seahwaks made a addition or 2 here and there replacing some old with a little newer.cardinals have lots of talent but it hasnt translaleted to the field yet if the have improved line play on both dides of the ball the could be a sleeper. but 2 sllepers in a divion makes it almost a bad division cause i think the 49ers will make big strides this year. alex smith will finally get it together and there defense has been getting better through the draft.

UPDATE:

After the recent trades, I am bumping the Dolphins DOWN to 3-13.  The Saints I will keep at 12-4 as I had them slightly over-valued before the Shockey trade.  The Redskins I will bump up to 7-9 and the Eagles I'll move down to 10-6.  They still get the playoff spot as well.

UPDATE:

All the Brett Favre happenings have had an effect on these picks as well

New York Jets are now 8-8 as they have to adjust to a new quarterback, and I don't think that's happening before November.

Green Bay Packers remain at 8-8 as Rodgers will be happy, but the media circus has had some kind of impact no matter what.

Well I guess I just had to bring this back.  Biggest thing I learned is NEVER make NFL predictions in July.  Just way too early as it was too tough to see how different trades would affect teams.  I figured I was way off on 12 teams and right on for 12 teams.  The other 8 were somewhere between 2 and 3 wins off.

RIGHT ON:
Cardinals (ugly division title, but a division title none the less)
Seahawks (Matt Hasselback is severely overrated, and always has been)
Packers (Rodgers was happy, but performance wasn't there)
Buccaneers (Garcia did his job, defense failed them at the end)
Redskins (Not bad for a first year coach, but it showed late)
Eagles (Talent was there, just needed to put it together)
Chiefs (Just a sucky team)
Broncos (No running game, no defense, don't deserve to be in the playoffs)
Texans (Just ask the Bears if they were a spoiler)
Bills (Improved, but youth and injuries hurt them...and 0-6 division)
New York Jets (Really improved, but in the end, Favre killed it)
Steelers (Tough schedule, but Tomlin stepped up and won games)

WAYYYY OFF:
Dolphins (Who wasn't way off with this team?  At least I can say I did the predictions before Pennington arrived)
Bengals (I think I was intoxicated at that point)
Jaguars (Most disappointing team.  No injuries, but no performance)
Titans (Very surprising, VY benching helped them out)
Chargers (They took a step back, and LT had a hard time, but I figured they would have done better than 8-8)
Cowboys (Choked when it was all in their hands)
Giants (Played better than I expected with the guys they had)
Saints (Injuries just decimated them)
Panthers (Every other year they do well...should have seen it coming)
Falcons (Like the Dolphins, who saw this coming?)
Lions (How dare I give them 9 wins)
Rams (Just didn't realize that they didn't give a shit anymore)

All in all it wasn't bad.  At least I had the balls to give the records and back them up.  And I'm actually here at the end to post it again.
