seriously, you are NOT impressing me with your understanding of basketball right now, Andarmac... not having a ring does not mean you are not a champioinship caliber player...

so, let me make it simple for you... the Celtics currently have 4 championship caliber players (regardless of rings)... the Cavs have 2 championship caliber players (regardless of rings)... the collection of idiots around Lebron and Jamison is not a championship team...

and you are going to compare the Cavs bench to the Celtics bench?  and coaching?  this is all bullshit... these are not debatable arguments...

and no... i am telling you this right now... the Cavs will NOT win either game in Boston...

this will be a very very popular play... and the single biggest sucker bet of the entire NBA season...

so first it's time to hang it up because i say Boston is the better team... they come out and put a complete ass-whooping on Cleveland...

now you suggest i am not an experienced better... i know the spot... but one thing has not changed...

Boston is still the better basketball team, and here is a spot that almost all truly great bettors know, and it is the single best spot in any kind of betting... it is this:

when the public perception is that one team is better, and that perception is wrong... THAT is the spot!  and it is very rare to find that spot where the value is as strong as it is here...

tell me what you have seen in games 1 or 2 to think Cleveland is the better team, or even that they can win this series...

even if the Cavs can manage to steal one of these games in Boston, which is very unlikely... they still have to try to hold their homecourt TWO MORE TIMES!  Boston will NOT lose game 6 at home... that will not happen...

better team getting points or juice is THE spot, my man... that is THE spot!

zteiner... before i address your 8th post... let me start by discarding an assumption you are surely making...

i am NOT one of these people who (a) read too much into Boston's regular season, (b) bought into any of the Cavs hype this year, (c) thought the Cavs stood a good chance of winning this series before game 2...

so don't bother lumping me in with other people who didn't see this shit coming...

now... onto your statement that Boston "HAS to go up 3-1 if it's going to win this series."... to that i will say, there is a reason you are on your umpteen millionth ID, and i am not...

Boston absolutely does NOT have to go up 3-1 to win this series... however, the Cavs DO have to win one of these next to games in Boston to win the series... THAT is reality...

let me try to make it simple...

the better team now has homecourt advantage in this series...

let me add to this point, since it goes right along with what i was saying... i was all over the Celtics in that series, and the series before it against Detroit... in BOTH of those series, the perception was that Boston was the inferior team (let us all acknowledge that Boston absolutely dominated the conf finals and finals that year, and there is not a sane person on the face of the earth who could ever suggest that the Celtics were not the best team that year)...

Boston was basically even money in both series, even though they had homecourt...

not to Andarmac... THAT is what i am talking about when i talk about THE SPOT!  superior team, getting juice or points, because public perception is fucked up!

this really isn't going to be close... Boston will win this series, and will almost certainly do it in 5 or 6 games... Cavs are not good enough to go into Boston and win a playoff game when the Celts are healthy... they have mentally weak players all over their roster...

agree with all points, especially these ones... game 4 is the more likely scenario for a win, and i suspect with so many people liking the Cavs in game 3, if they lose game 3, those people will be officially off the bandwagon for game 4...
