why would you take the under when you already have enough tied to it....wouldn't it make sense to take the over 108.5 and go for the middle.....anything between 203.5 and 214.5 is cash

yes that is a nice middle.  both teams shot pretty well in the first half.  Problably just keep the under and enjoy the rest of the game. Hopefully lakeshow will keep it interesting.

You guys are confusing me.... My official play for the second half is:

1)  No play ...... not sure if lakers will do it now or do it later.

2)  Over/Under.... first half was uptempo but they just might pull the plug and go sit in the parking lot.

How's that for some Analysis !!

taz--You are ahead of the under by 11-12 points at half, why give the books a chance to get even and take the juice from you and hope to hit a prayer?  The under will hit in this situation more times and show a profit.

ya, i understand what you're saying bator and saratoga.....in all probability we already have done a good job and taken the books money on the under (unless ot hits) so there is no need to try to go for the middle....i can always go inplay if i start to think otherwise...but i think i will still take the over 108 (-103) currently at pinni for 50% of my original under bet...thx for the responses

I will say one thing about this game and that is Utah is the ONLY team so far who has not had to double team Kobe.

it is different in tennis where i can take a guy at +200 when he is broken then later on in the match take his opponent at +200 when he goes up...in this case, it's not gambling, it's greening out and i will always go for that....but i do know what you guys are getting at...however i see a good chance for the middle with fouls at the end and i am only going for 50% of my original wager on the under, which i stronger about....

That manuever to me is like spliting kings, tens, jacks queens etc in blackjack when you have 20.  You can live better than Hugh Heffner in that situation if you had it everytime, so don't give it up for hopes of a lottery ticket.

why would you lay off at the half for a middle when you got the best of it  that going for middle shit just eats up juice,  If you did that every time you had the best of it you would never win, you have to ride it out when your in the drivers seat,  middles are a lot harder than they look, even if the middle hits still a dumb play,  unless your a scared gambler playing on scared money

friedshrimp, he would never split paint cards, that's what saratoga is saying, he doesn't like the play...good question about a 2 when dealer has a 12, i always thought it was around a 50/50 proposition but i'd like to see  what actual odds are
