You guys are all seriously retarded (especially the moron spouting off about IQ points - as I seriously hope english is not his first language). I understand that you will forever question the NBA after the Donahue scandal - but to question it now because of an airballed free throw? I played college basketball and I can assure you that intentionally missing a free throw is incredibly difficult - and even more difficult when you are a solid ft shooter, like Telfair. Free throws are all muscle memory and routine, and to try and miss one you have to deliberately try and exaggerate one of your movements which usually means you shoot it harder or straighter - which makes for a difficult offensive tip-in. I think Telfair tried too hard not to not shoot it hard so he could get a soft bounce off of the front of the rim and clearly overcompensated. Surely if he had perfectly bounced the ball off of the front of the rim and it was tipped in, everyone on here would be ripping him for sending the game to overtime, had the T-Wolves lost by more than 2. I think some of you degenerates or conspiracy theorists forget that these guys are all simply trying to win the game - not to score as many points as possible or cover some spread. The only reason most of you are making such a fuss over this is because most of you are simply cappers who have an expectation of athletes simply because you watch them on tv. If any of you had ever actually played basketball at any level higher than your sunday rec league, you would know that desperate things happen at the ends of games - not deliberate, spread busting plays - simply strategies and plays designed to help teams win, even if it means less points or seemingly unreasonable fouls. Plain and simple - if you question the integrity or validity of any games don't bet - and if you still do choose to bet, don't spend hours whining about it, because it's your own damn fault.
