Orlando will at the most win two games at home (I'm leaning more towards one). There's a good possibility the Lakers win Game 3 outright. As you've already seen against Denver, the Lakers stole both Game 3 and 6 as an underdog because their focus, will and determination was laser sharp. I see them giving max effort in each road game, therefore, pushing Orlando to heights and under pressure they'll eventually crack from.
Lakers +4

Not unless Stan Van stops fucking up his rotation. Reddick and lee cost them the game. I know he has to play one of the two with Pietrus fouling out but to play both was absurd

La isnt that much better than the magic. Game 1 you can throw out. The magic just werent ready. Orlando could have stolen this game tonight. These are evenly matched teams so they can take care of the home games
are you serious?
howard is overrated. period. you cannot tell me that this guy is the best center in the league. i lost count the amount of times he lost the ball trying to backdown a laker defender. Sure he has an insane physical build but size doesnt always translate into greatness.. and JJ Reddick, courtney lee? LOL... the lakers were allowing orlando to steal tonights game and they could not take advantage. One thing is for damn sure... lewis will not hit 6 3's in another game this series.

They will sweep the 3 in orlando just like miami did in 06. They showed they can play with them tonight. Im not saying they will win the series but they will get it done down in orlando

No way that happens. Lakers wins one @ Disneyworld. To be specific, it would be Game 5. Then we will be crowned the WORLD CHAMPIONS after game 6 @ the Staples.

I think Orlando is done. Kobe can sense how close he is right now to that elusive fourth ring. The Lakers can feel it at this point. I don't think they want to take any chances of fucking it up on Tuesday in Game 3 after tonight's close call.

No no. Don't think like this. Game 1 definitely counts. It tells us that the Lakers go as they need to go. Game 3 really means nothing to them. Gasol said as much in his post-game ESPN interview. Game 3 belongs to the Magic, the Lakers will allow it. That's it, though, because at that point the Magic will have caught the Lakers' attention. Games 4 and 5 will be Laker victories.

I take all that back.
Orlando is winning and covering Game 3.

Hedo did do a pretty damn good job on kobe tonight. On the lakers last possession of regulation, he didn't give on the play when Kobe got by him and got all ball from behind. INCREDIBLE. The refs knew they couldn't call a foul on that play, even if it was Kobe.
Pitrus did a good job on Kobe to but that fifth foul on him was definitively a phantom foul. Kobe is great at initiating contact and still getting the calls to go his way.

Poorguy and Osirus13 are orlando homers, both blind to the very end.
Says the guy who created his account only after the Lakers beat the Nuggets. Jagoff.
Winning three in a row is tough in the 2-3-2 format. There was a thread on this earlier. The thread also does a good job illustrating of what a moron MrRightLA is. I will vote that he is a dumber than Cavs_Lover.
Two of those times were very recent though, with Detroit and Miami doing it.

Well the game went to ot and could have been won by the magic so that says they can play with them. Are you blind? Howard is the best center. The center position is weak and he will continue to develop an offensive game. He has dominated every round until these 2 games and even then he still had the boards and blocked shots. Why wont lewis hit 6 3s again? Why not? Thats what they do.

I am really sorry to burst your bubble but YAO is the best center in the league. Dalembert, Big Baby/Perkins, Ben Wallace. Thats why Howard has dominated every round so far!

I am not trying to be an asshole or anything and if you are being a homer I truly understand where your points are coming from. We all get homervision sometime.

So nba fan, are you saying there is only 1 good center in the league then? Its not howards fault those are the guys he played. Perkins is solid defensively i might add. Bynum is no better then those guys you mentioned and howard is struggling a bit. Is that because of bynun or howards poor play? Howard will be better then yao. So if you were a rockets gm are you saying you wouldnt take howard for yao straight up? Your crazy if you say no

Either way game 1 was not the way this series is going to be played. More like game 2. They outrebounded la big time and a couple of stupid mistakes go differently they tie this up. They did beat la twice reg season so they can easily win those games down there

howard is overrated... for now. HE HAS A LOT OF THINGS TO IMPROVE ON... his personality and the overwhelming media attention is what makes everyone love him so much. Yao is the better player in nearly every aspect of the game. If it wasnt for China forcing him to play in the summertime and causing his plethora of injuries, who knows how great of a player he would be.
YAO > HOWARD..
I'm done.

and talking about the regular season makes absolutely no sense to me.. there are way too many variables that go into regular-season play as we all know these guys dont give it their best effort every game.

Actually howard and the magic got NO media attention this year. Howard got some attention soley because of the dunk contest. How the magic got no respect this year makes me sick. They beat everyone. Are they going to win this series? I dont know but it should have been much easier to see that they were coming out of the east. Howard >>>>Yao

lakers are not coming back to LA. this thing is over. as value pointed out kobe will get that elusive 4th ring. as we have seen roger federer getting his elusive grand slam at roland garros, kobe will get his. he has been the greatest nba player of this decade. next sunday crown the champs.
