527 Wizards (+3) over Bucks
Two teams today that I love the scheduling spots they’re in and one of them is the Wizards. They’re on one day of rest while the Bucks are on the 2nd end of a back to back playing their 3rd game in 4 days. Also the Bucks are coming off b2b games against the Nets who are the favorite to win the East so I think the motivational factor was high for them to come out and prove to the Nets that they’re the team to beat in the East and they played like it in their 2 games against them so I’m expecting a let down against one of the hottest teams in the league. Also these teams played a b2b against each other on the 3/13 and 3/15 and both games were very competitive. One game the Wizards played without Bradley Beal and Davis Bertans and lost by 6 and both games took place before the trade deadline so the Wizards were without their impactful big man Daniel Gafford. Gafford had 15 points and 3 blocks in just 15 minutes in their last game against the Pacers and since the Wizards acquired him from the Bulls they’re 12-2 SU and he has a +6.7 net rating so I look for him to continue impacting both ends of the floor. The Wizards are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games and 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games overall so I look for them to stay hot and also a look to the ML.
522 Hawks (+1.5) over Suns
The Suns are also in a tough scheduling disadvantage playing the 2nd end of a back to back while it being their 3rd game in 4 days against one of the hottest teams at home. The Hawks are 20-7 ATS in their last 27 home games and I think they’ll be motivated and they’re crowd will be pumped up with the 1st seeded Suns coming to their building. These teams played on 3/30 back in Phoenix and the Suns won by 7 as 5.5 point favorites and I think the Hawks will be motivated to protect their home court. Bogdan Bogdanovic who has been playing well lately is listed as probable to play so that’ll be a big boost for this young Hawks team also.
