MakinBacon, if the Pistons leave town with the 1-1 split, not too many people are going to like Boston's chances of regaining the homecourt advantage. But, the big difference between Game 3 in Detroit and all of Boston's other playoff road games is that this time, Boston will be coming off a home loss.
Obviously this is unchartered water for the Celtics but I can tell you this. They tried very hard to win a game at Cle and couldn't get it done. Especially Game 6.

and very surprised to hear u callin a road win for boston, real bator, but i know u have ur reasons. i do not see it tho. det's more focused than last series(obviously) and with the bench playin the way they did tonight, i dont see boston gettin one in det. this was a huge win. we got the one many said we couldnt and u could see it in the postgame interviews w/kg and pierce that they are a bit demoralized after this one and det knows this may be it for this crew. the two that will make the difference will be Tayshaun and Stuckey. they may not cover but they will win the rest @ home.

In Cleveland, the Celtics were still being affected by a bad case of Sam Cassell poisoning.
