What it is gents, tough night on Sunday goin ofer in my spreads. Luckily not a big loss for the night but looking for one of those profitable days again and with that am placing my highest single unit wager of the season so far. A lot of people may be against it as will the consensus but I feel confident in this pick. Good luck tonight.
BOSTON CELTICS - 8.5 - - -Well gonna be backin the Champs on this one. If you think about it the spread is fairly low considering a few things. For one in my honest opinion the Magic's record does not represent the team. According to the records they are the 4th best team in the league and I really don't see that. Don't get me wrong, the Magic at full strength can contend with the best of em but they are not at 100%. Jameer Nelson, Bogans and Pietrus are all out. Those are 3 important pieces in Orlando's succees. granted J.J Redick, Anthony Johnson, Battie and others have played key roles to make up for Orlando's injuries but they will not be able to hold off any longer. It's all about matchups and depth in this ball game, I feel very confident and will explain why.
When it comes to matchups Boston has it covered.
PG - - - Rondo vs Johnson (No contest speed and agility of Rajon will amount to penetration and kickouts all day for Boston.)
SG - - - Allen vs Redick (Umm future hall-of-famer vs redick...no contest)
SF - - - Pierce vs Hedo (Slight lean towards Paul, I say slight because of Hedo's height, can cause problems defensively but PP will have him bamboozled tonight)
PF - - - KG vs Lewis (KG can defend the perimeter as well as the paint, Lewis doesn't stand a chance defending KG, doubles will be the only option and PP and Allen will receive passes from KG constantly)
C - - - Perkins vs Howard (Now here is the key matchup I think Perk will cause a lot of problems for the the beast Howard, Perk coming off his best game all season will have the confidence to guard Dwight in the post, Perkins is key to the Boston cover and I think he will come through)
BENCH - - - Gotta give it to Boston hands down, Powe, Tony Allen, House will contribute, on the other hand the shallow bench for ORL will hardly play or impact the game.
So with a dominating roster mismatch no way Boston folds tonight. 11 UNITS CHAMPS - - - ($1100 TO WIN $1000) - - -
Will place a few more wagers in terms of teasers and parlays. BOL tonight fellas. Thanks to Getthat50 for the thread name, thanks to everyone who has posted and backed me up the past few days, it's nice when people follow when your on a smokin streak, it's even better to have people follow when you struggle cause they believe in your overall knowledge and believe in consistency over a long NBA season. Won't let ya gents down, thanks for the back. Peace out fellas.

Joe Johnson? Guy no I am taking about oldy moldy Anthony Johnson PG for the Orlando Magic. Joe Johnson is an overall top SG in the NBA and I would never underestimate him.

well... JJ Redick is in the Duke hall of fame- isnt he?
you are a class act bro. however, there is something about Mondays, even Maknificent ones that make it scary for me to back big favorites. i will either join you or pass.
again, thanks for your contributions to the forum as it has helped me a lot.

i think this game is a coin toss at best. nelson and pietrus are out, but orl has always been about lewis, hedo and howard. orl took 2 of 3 last season, and they could've won the 3rd if howard made his free throws. he's much improved this year at the line. i like boston too, but i don't know.. could be a close game.

favre...yes J rich is back for the Bobcats...was at the game sat, and he did not look 100% but is still a big factor for them. Char gave a good effort v. the Celts for the cover, but as usual have no answer in crunch time for any decent team.
mak...with all that said, i agree there is value in the Celts tonight, as 8.5 seems a little short. (maybe an overlay against them since they failed to cover vs. the lowly cats??)
BOS-8.5
Still looking at the rest..
