Lakers sweep.................ML -300 take it while you can. Lakers better team and won't let 23 and 16 leads go to waste

lakers are soft and so are their big men.  Orlando will take this 6 or 7 games.


i got a strange feeling Lamar Odom is going to wake up this series and that will be the difference and Lakers win in 6

True, Kobe is matchless, but Bynum will need help guarding Dwight. And when that happens, either Shard or Turkoglu will be open in the wings, waiting to launch another laser-guided bomb.

Odom maybe. Bynum is still learning the ropes, and Kobe will not have paint defense assignments, I'm sure. Now for Paula Gasol...hmm...might ruin his permed hair if he worked too hard against Dwight. Not good for LA glamour looks.

I like the Magic in 5. Steal one in LA and sweep em at home.

Lakers seemed to play when they felt like it in Houston series but against Denver they looked like the Lakers that everyone expected, running a smart efficient offense and playing good D, forcing bad shots. Cleveland supposedly had a good D but could not stop Dwight or the outside shots. I think Orlando matches up well because they have a lot of size with Lewis and Hedu being 6' 9"+. I think Ariza gets schooled in this series. Lamar Odom and Bynum are the deciding factors. Gasol is good for 20/10 but it won't matter if Howard goes 40/20. Magic have a much better bench and Pietrus/Odom will be fun to watch.

I sense that EXPERIENCE will be a crucial element
that the Magic lack this far in the playoffs"

Lakers just might have received that one wake up call in
game -5  I watched a team that had a mission statement
and had a crucial awakening..
Lakers in 5  Magic take one at home.
Vegas is begging you to take the +6
knowing full well the public is mesmerized by the blowout
of Lebron & his sheeple of a team.
So Lakers in 5


And fellas if you see one of theserun the SOB OFF the road.

Funny-Paula. I didn't even mention Ariza. All 4 will be crashing the offensive boards, Howard will be picking up allot of cheap fouls.

And Kobe will be Kobe and drive hard to the basket. Good for atleast 3 quick ones a game

Odom vs Lewis? Is that even a fair matchup? Odom will get burned by Lewis' quickness and poise from the 3 pt line. Kobe will get his points for sure but Lebron also got his points and look what happened to the Cavs. Magic is playing great collective basketball right now and I do not see this as a cake walk for the Lakers. Lakers will have their hands full especially if they lose 1 game @ home.

I think Cavs fans thought the Cavs was going to school the Orlando Magic. Lebron got schooled instead.

Doesn't it take some guts to beat the defending champs and the #1 NBA team this whole season. Experience counts yes but momentum as well. Magic has been the most resilient team I have witnessed within the last few years.

This Magic team is reslient and they love the game. The Lakers are the lakers, the  most talented team in the league.......PERIOD!
(I  still don't know how they got Gasol).
If the Lakers play like they did in game 6 at Denver, forget it.
If Kobe pisses everbody off and they don't share, the Magic has a chance.
Lets not forget the coaches. To me, both first rate and underrated. But Jackson gets the nod...I have bet the Magic through the playoffs but I am off the bandwagon. Lakers roll...........in 5 or 6.

You think that Orlando will win all three home games?  Man, I just don't see that.  The feat has only been accomplished twice in the 24 years of the 2-3-2 Finals format, but beyond that, we've all seen that when this Laker team with Kobe & Gasol really wants to win a road playoff game, they can do it anywhere.  We know they don't always come to play, but at least once in every playoff series, they show up determined to win on the road and then they do it convincingly. 

The only exception occurred in last year's Finals, but as anyone can go see for themselves, there is ample evidence on YouTube that the officiating crew of Kenny Mauer, Dan Crawford, and the completely slimy Bob Delaney cheated their asses off for the Celtics in Game 2.

No way do the Magic have a much better bench.  No way!  I'll take the package of Odom, Farmar, Walton, Vujacic, and Shannon Brown over the trio of Pietrus, Anthony Johnson, and Marcin Gortat, thank you very much.  Tony Battie isn't even worth mentioning after he played about a total of 20 minutes in the entire Cleveland series, nor is J.J. Redick, who never saw the floor again after Game 2.

The series win over Cleveland was impressive, but needing 7 games to take out the gasping, wheezing, Garnett-less "defending champs" was not.

If the Lakers lose a home game, that means they must win at least one road game, which they definetely will.  For the Lakers to lose this series, they're somehow going to have to lose at least two home games.
