This one I like.
Lakers also in a little bit of a slump not really playing good defense in this streach, although it improved int the last games.
Still Memphis hot themselfs and really good on defense lately.

prof, i have followed your picks, love them and your insight.  I think your right on with your reasoning tonight with the lakers losing against the griz and will be looking forward to the celts on thursday.  I am celts fan, but i think the lakers will win that game.  However,  i like the grizz getting some points and winning the game outright.  gl

I would have to agree with this post.  The Fakers got thoroughly embarrassed at Staples, and I don't think any of them have forgotten that one.  I think the Fakers will give a little payback to Grizz.  BOL

The last three games between these teams in Memphis have been decided by two points or fewer. The Grizzlies won two of them.

Now we gotta live through this bs talk about how the Lakers are back and Pau Gasol is a beast again cause they beat a crippled hornets team missing okafor/ariza by 6 with the aid of a 27 to FOUR ft differential. How is it even possible for an NBA team to get 4 FT's AT HOME?

I like the Grizzlies here too, but how do you feel about the Bulls covering 2.5 vs the Trail Blazers?

Really liking the Bulls here after having a bad night in Golden State  days ago.

the Bulls are an average road team 11-11. If I had to bet I would take Portland. Under 2nd half could be a good play.

I look foward to your picks myself but I'm going to have to say I think you're looking into it a little too hard. I started fading the squares and it put me at about even when I wasn't fading the squares. I like the comment you make about being able to rightfully predict when to go with the public and when not to because that is exactly the name of the game. It's sort of like a roulette wheel. One spin the public wins, One spin the house wins. Two spins in a row the public wins. Two spins in a row the house wins. Nothing ever stays the same. Bookies are always trying to stay ahead of the public so for this reason they are constantly switching up line movements not always giving the correct line and that is where the smart betting is at. I truly believe that the loss to the celtics will make the lakers profitable for this week or these next two weeks. I was on the hornets the other night and lakers had a one point cover so for that reason I think either pick was not a horrible one. Although I do believe Pau shit on the hornets with 40 or so points and I think he's ready to go take a shit on his little brother too and I think the lakeshow will perform well after that huge celtics loss.
