Game: Pacers @ Nets

Line: Pacers -4.5
Reasons to take the Nets:
1. Last three of 4 they've been very competitive. Leading Boston on 11/7 going into the 4th (lost by 10 but score is not indicative of final score). Lost to Philly by 3 on 11/11 in final seconds. Were game in Orlando for 3 quarters after letting it go in the 4th. And then on a back to back, faced a Miami team who were embarrassed by Lebron and Cleveland on national TV at home the previous game (aside from one show stealing dunk where Sideshow Bob Verejao thought it would be cute to audition for a porn film by showing the world how he can put his legs over his head underneath the basket).
In that game, Miami needed not one but TWO MIRACLE three's to win it, the first from Fat Ass Quentin Richardson who banked, yes BANKED it in from in between the corner and the top of the key. It was one of those shots where you waited 5 games to get on the court for a pick-up game and this fat fuck chucks one up from no man's land to win it to send you back to the sidelines for another hour. Wade's three was well defended. Just a shot that unfortunately went in from one of the best.
If the Nets are THAT GAME AT MIAMI in a back to back when GETTING 13 after they just lost to the CAVS in on national TV, I'll take my chances getting 4.5 at home against the Pacers.
2. Nets are 3-0-1 ATS in last 4. (if you could get the Orlando game at +16 on Bodog, you could get it anywhere).
3. Nets have had 3 days to let that last lost simmer and come home to get a win. NOW, Frank's job is in precarious standing. Even though the roster is depleted, even the lowest of the low are starting to contribute in hopes of a win (Sean Williams 12 pts last game

).4. Why is everyone on Indiana's jock? Ok. They beat the Celtics by 9. Great. They are still 4-3, after winning 4 in a row, and are one loss from being last in their division. The team I'd MOST like them to face after beating the best in the league is the winless NETS in the next game. I'll tell you this, one of those wins was against the shitty Knicks who lead by as many as 14 before shutting down offensively. Not a good sign.
5. Nets know this is one of the few games they have left to get a win before they go on their brutal west coast trip where they always shit the bed. Indiana tonight, @ a hot milwaukee team tomorrow and then the Knicks at home who will be gunning for a meager win just as much as they will. Then @ Denver @ Portland @ Sacto and @ LA. THIS looks like the best spot of all those. And they're GETTING 4.5!
First pick of the year I faded the Nets against a Denver team in a HUGE revenge spot from the prior year. This time, the Nets have shown enough to get me to take a very generous 4.5 from the books that will only drop from this posting.
