Last two threads (0-4) lost and now 1-4 this week. No big deal as two days will not undue what I have done this year. I am always fascinated with people who seem to love high scoring teams like the Suns. Suns are not a good basketball team that is old and average at best. Even though there is no justification for anyone taking the Suns other than they are due, I promise you many more will be on them for the TNT game tonight as the majority still see them as a top team with a great home record. Last year they sucked and this year they are even worse, yet the perception is they still have Nash and Amare and all of these weapons. Dallas is light years better. My standard play is 1 unit like the last 4 plays although I am thinking of putting 3 units on this, that's how much I like them. For the week I am still up a couple units as Memphis the other night was a 5 unit play my largest of the season. GL ALL see you Friday.

Who? Any casual bettor is aware that the Suns just crapped their pants badly on a four game road trip through Indiana, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Memphis. Then the Suns came home to take care of the feeble Nets only to get punked at home next by the Bulls. After a non-covering win against the crippled, Monta Ellis-less Warriors, the Suns went to Utah and blew a big lead and lost SU & ATS. Then two days ago they pretty much hit rock bottom by bowing at home to the Bobkittens for the very first time.
After what's happened to the crumbling Suns in the last two weeks, who is out there that still thinks they're any good? Who?

about a month ago , someone posted a thread about this trend involving sides that have been on the road for 5 games or more
( like DALL have been DAL @ TOR ............DAL lost SU + ATS DAL @ BOS............DAL won SU + ATS DAL @ WAS............DAL won SU ...lost ATS DAL @ PHI..............DAL lost SU + ATS DAL @ NYK.............DAL won SU + ATS
then they come home for 1 game MIL @ DAL DAL won SU ..lost ATS
then back on the road DAL @ PHO
then back home for a while POR @ DAL
anyway,..this guy did his research,..listed as many of the games that fit that criteria...and i wrote the list down...
these are the games and the results
LAC @ POR ....POR won ,..but LAC covered MIA @ CHA ....CHA won by 40,..(although MIA had another road game after this one ,. so it's got an asterisk) MIL @ TOR ...TOR won , but MIL covered....
.i know 3 games is hardly a big enough sample size to be definitive...
but the bottom line is....the home side has won SU 3/3 times...
the travelling can wear down any side.....
i know on recent form alone,..DAL are clearly the superior side....
PHO has only 2 wins over NJN and GSW of late....but plenty of losses, and deservingly referred to as an overated side...
but i also think that of DALL at various times....

plus ,..looking at their schedule....they have 4 road games,..then 1 home game vs POR coming before the all star break....
i think it's unreasonable for PHO to expect 2-2 on their road trip....1-3 would be big for PHO right about now.......
