Charlotte Bobcats -5
Who saw this coming? Grizz are actually above .500 and they should credit that to the run they made in December (12 - 5 SU, 11-5-1 ATS). Zach Randolph has been playing like an MVP (20/10 guy) and they are on a roll their last 10 games. They didn't just screw any team, they got Utah, @Portland, @Phoenix, and the Nuggets. I've written about the Cats in their match against the Knicks and man what a beat. Grizz are coming with a 5-3 road card in their run that began in December. They are 2-9 before that. I'm really into the Grizz but seeing them off a 4-game road trip then a game at home and playing the next day in Charlotte looks like a 6-game road trip to me. They are also in a bad bad 4 games in 5 night situation also off from a nice little win against Utah. My Cats get them tonight! LOL.
Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic OVER 196.5
Okay, I don't know which side to go on this one. Here's what I'm looking at: Hawks are on a 3 games in 4 nights with the 3rd game off a back to back and on the road. They are also off a nice little win against the top gun Celtics. Looks like a good fade to me, then again I look at this Magic team and: They are on a 4 games in 5 nights and playing back to back after a loss (or should I say it's routinely now?) to the Wizards (squandering double digit lead with in the last 10 minutes of the game). They are on a 4 game losing streak which is the longest the team had since they had Grant Hill in 2007. The next few was in D12's sophomore year in 06. Vince Carter will most likely miss this one. Hawks are also 4-1 as a dog this season. I don't know if this sound strange but instead of a side I'm jumping on the OVER here. Tired legs usually sums up to little to no defense at all. Still gonna go over this one before thinking of banking on a side.
Chicago Bulls -8.5
(Quest: Does 1_Hit_Take_All's system applies on this one? Or should the road dog win straight up? It's something like the Road dog winning and should be faded if they are set as faves the next day).
Tell me I'm not seeing things. WTF is 8.5 doing in this game? Bulls got beat 3 games already after starting hot on Tyrus' return. Bulls are 1-5 ATS (3-2 SU) when set as 6-point fave or more and those are wins against NJ, Tor, Phi, Cha and Mil. They are also 1-5 ATS on back to backs. Wolves are 2-4 on 3 games in 4 nights situations (the 3rd one should be on the road). Here's how it breaks down:
- Lose to the Clips by 3 but covered the 7-pt spread
- Lose to the Warriors by 41 as a 6-pt dog
- Lose to the Grizz by 10 as a 9-pt dog
- Lose to the Kings by 20 as a 7-pt dog
- Won against the Nets by 4 as a 4-pt dog
- Lose to the Pacers by 10 as a 4-pt dog
You'd say it's probably about right, right? Do look at the matchup as well. D-Rose hasn't won against the Wolves in his last 2 gamest against them as well. Right now, I'm leaning on the Bulls for the weirdness of it but I suggest you guys hold out and see what's up in here first.
BOL.
