D-Gen (and others) I'm thinking Kobe's confindence is pretty high (according to his press conference interview) And I just don't think you'd want to face a Kobe Bryant when he's feeling so good (major understatement!) about his chances and his game. His outside shot suffered quite a bit in game 1. Make no mistake, you won't see a repeat of that in tonight's game. With the uncertainties (perkins, pierce) that Boston is facing, it doesn't help their cause much. Lakers are such an unpredictable team - Yeah I resepct Boston's home record, but do the Lakers???? They're the kinda team that will pound Boston at the garden by 15, and go home and lose to Charlotte by 20 at Staples! Therefore Boston's home record becomes redundant to me (too much weight is placed on that!)
As the great coach said "it'd be very hard to fathom to see Kobe have too attrocious shooting games in a row..." This is what the guy lives for. And also more importantly keep this in mind:
