i can't see why the lakers would let up,
if they win in houston game 4,
they can go home to LA and finish the series... rather than drag it back to houston for a game 6.

dont over think this game - i think the lakers are not fakers at this point - the lakers came into the series sleep walking - much like how the jazz eeked out a win after a tremendous effort and a bit of luck, so also the rockets managed a single win - but the series is done - i think the books get crushed big time from the public and the smart money tomorrow - i caught it at 4, but no way i try to middle this - why would anyone do that: stay with the 3.5 and be happy that you have weener - collect your money and be happy

i think the first game was a bit fixed, sad to say, to keep the public and all bettors a bit off balance and afraid to take the lakers again - they wanted to zig zag the gamblers on such a major public-favorite team, and they did so successfully.

but the league and the teams, and the refs in the back of their minds, want the best to finally match up in the championship, given the current down turned economy - they want the highest ratings, etc. - so i think they want two big time teams, big time players like a labron and kobe, to collide.

the lakers probably made a deal with the devil to lose one game in each of their series - damn i hate conspiracy theories

but now it's all over - the lakers arent messing around anymore - i dont know if they cover 7 or 8 points, but i know they will win the game, so ill probably lay more right before the game (the greed factor) - the lakers want to win tomorrow to keep pace and to try to be fairly rested, because they know that cleveland isnt messing around, with their double digit wins - they know that cleveland is going to be waiting and resting.

from a team strategy perspective, i think that the lakers finally figured out that playing an up tempo game basically equates to a double digit win for them, because the are clearly the more athletic team, the more skilled team, which ultimately results in 10 or more point wins - unless of course the zebras decide they want to backdoor the game and make all of the laker bettors cry, which i think can also happen like game one of the series. lol

kobe would love to win...
